It's a good day for Rally fans, as Sega of America revealed some new information and screenshots for their upcoming next-gen title, Sega Rally Revo . The game is being developed for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, and Sega also updated the game's release date. Previously slated for "early 2007" after its showing at E3 last year, the game is now set for "fall 2007."
Sega will also be including eight new environments based on real life locations. This gets added to another cool piece of information concerning the real-time deformation of tracks, which Sega announced some time ago. And for all you car fanatics out there who want plenty of options, Sega Rally Revo will boast a variety of racing vehicles: licensed 4WD, 2WD, and classic cars will abound, each of which should perform very differently when on the track.
And lastly, Sega is tossing in several multiplayer modes for both offline and online, so everyone can get in on the fun! We'll have more information and details when they become available, but for now, the game seems to be shaping up quite nicely.
