Square-Enix Kicks Off PS3 Giveaway

Square-Enix is clearly interested in the PS3 endeavor, which is further solidified by their latest promotion: in Japan, the publisher has announced a new campaign designed around pushing both "Squeenix" titles and Sony's newest console. Consumers who choose to pick up Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix + , Front Mission the 1st , and Seiken Densetsu Heroes of Mana will have a chance to win a 60GB PS3. The publisher best known for their legendary Final Fantasy series will be giving away 30 systems during the promotion.

However, there is a caveat: you must be a member of the Square-Enix Members program to be eligible for the competition. Basically, it's when gamers use codes to register their products at Square-Enix's website, which in turn grants them points they can spend on various prizes. Obviously, it goes without saying that you need a Japanese address to enter into the club.

If you want to be one of the lucky 30 who lands a shiny new PS3, be aware that this has already started. The competition kicked off on March 8 and will run through April 30, though, so you have sufficient time to take advantage. Just remember: you need to be a Square-Enix Member and you have to purchase all three games listed here. Good luck!
