John-ShepardYou won't be able to play the amazing campaign until November, but you can still get involved in the multiplayer action this week. Well, you can provided you're among the privileged.
The multiplayer beta for Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception kicks off soon and developer Naughty Dog has handed out the pertinent details. The test will begin on June 28 for those of you who purchased inFamous 2 , and those who are PlayStation Plus subscribers. With Sony's "Welcome Back" program, this should give you early access, but that access will go away when the month is over. Hence, our beta code giveaway .
For everyone else, the beta begins on July 4. Everyone will be able to enjoy the action until July 13; various competitive and cooperative modes will be featured: Plunder, Team Deathmatch, Three Team Deathmatch, Co-op Adventure, Team Objective, Hunter, and Co-Op Arena. The three maps available will be Chateau, Airstrip, and Yemen. The beta will support stereoscopic 3D and there is a level cap of 25. Oh, and your progress and achieved items won't carry over to the full version of the game, but participants can still earn rewards.

I'm debating if i should wait till november to play the game. I am sure it'll be awesome. It's a matter of helping Naughty Dog out.
I think the levels will be restarted like Uncharted 2 multiplayer beta when Uncharted 3 launches.

wait, i'm a little confused. plus subscribers loose access to the beta download or the beta itself at the end of the month? i want to know if i can give away my infamous 2 code for the beta.
anyway, i dont know if i'll participate in this beta. i still got mass effect 2 and resonance of fate sitting on my shelf after my infamous 2 evil run. That and i dont want to burn myself out on uncharted 3 before it comes out. I think i'll participate in their uncharted 3/subways promotion instead because its not a beta, its an early access to the multiplayer game. that means any progress on that carries over to the full retail game. either way i'm behind on my gaming and still got white knight 2, resistance 3, uncharted 3, battlefield 3, and maybe batman arkham city in the following weeks to go through. damn, i really need to find a job again.
I think he referring to the plus subscribers who got the free month in the welcome back program, beacause they only have a month of plus. But the Beta becomes open on july 4'th so everyone can play.

what happened, was suppose to release today?
they had heaps of blogs on the EU blog saying its out worldwide on tuesday the 28th which is today.
sigh, its the KZ3 beta debacle all over again!
why does sony constantly give US dates on the EU blog?

I heard at 4pm est but there site says differently.

I'm now downloading the Uncharted 3 Beta from my Asian PSN account. I checked the US PSN Store and it's not there yet. Must be one of the very rare times the Asian PSN Store got something ahead of the rest. Can't hardly wait for it to finish and start playing!! 🙂

just dl it to bad the beta isn't working. Getting error msg when connecting. im sure nd probably working on it now, the servers maybe getting bog down little with people all trying to connect.
