inFamous 2 hits U.S. store shelves on June 7 and fans will have the option of that bad-ass Hero Edition, too. Well, PAL regions will get that edition as well, and their launch date is only a day later: June 8 (although not until June 10 in the UK, Germany and Ireland). But there's also the Special Edition (featuring extra digital content including the Electrocution Grenade and Golden Amp) and several wicked cool bundle packages: two exclusive inFamous 2 Dual Shock 3 wireless controller bundles will be released next month; the "good" box comes with a Cosmic Blue controller and the "evil" bundle boasts a Crimson Red controller. Last but not least, the PS3 bundle, which boasts a copy of the game, a standard black wireless controller, and a 320GB PS3 console.
So you've got plenty of choices when it comes to Sucker Punch's highly anticipated sequel. Are you gonna be good or bad…?

Personally, I always go with good, I do not favor the dark side of the force….so if these come stateside, it's a blue controller for me.
Sony's WBP made this easy for me (Thank you Sony) as I didn't want to play Infamous 2 without playing the original first. Now I can enjoy the original and finish it in time for part 2 in June. YESS!!!! *lots of vigorous nerdy-looking handpumps to accompany previous loud exclamation* I prefer the good side but the evil bundle's red controller sounds more appealing to me.
Yeah, I like the red controller too, I want to see whether there are version specific DL codes included, I never play bad Cole, so there's little point in those for me. But my wife would love that red controller…so…I'm kind of stuck.

It actually looks cheaply made, because you can see the red light (player 1) through the plastic, which makes it feel hollow, and I chipped off a bit while in one of my rage modes; it took me a whole 2 years to even slightly (destory) break my black controller…
It does looks gurd in red though 😛

No need to worry, if they have the money, why not? It's probably because they like getting extra for the game they purchase, like art books, sound tracks, and other goodies that come with stuff like that.
If I had the money I would be interested in buying them as well, some of the stuff they give is pretty cool, and most of it is of interest to me and others who enjoy doing this.

In my country (Holland), they decided to charge 130 euros for the Hero edition, I was like :O
I'll probably just buy the special edition or the standard edition now… Just hoping the special edition will be a steel case or something, I dislike the cardboard stuff, it feels so cheap.
Hero edition pre-ordered. Right now or when I get home, LA Noire.

LA Noire is only being released on Friday where I live.. but still.. going from Cole Phelps to Cole Macgrath in just three weeks is awesome.
Awesome. Here I was thinking it was the 10th in all PAL regions. Doesn't really make a fart's worth of difference though, I won't be able to pick it up until that weekend. And although one of those bundles is tempting, I've already got three controllers (admittedly none of them are Dualshocks), so the standard edition will do me just fine.

conflicting info though, sony sent out a press release last week saying AU was getting it on the 9th, now there saying the 8th.
which one is it?
EB and that are saying the 9th so ill believe that.
the press release also said every copy of infamous 2 will come with the uncharted 3 beta code, so why no mention of it here?

Loved Infamous ,but, am a little concerned at all the "large" monsters he appears to have to fight. Not my style…I like the stealth and pick off the baddies one by one approach! (shrug) Meh to each his own I guess. 🙂
