John-ShepardDuke Nukem Forever arrives on June 14 and if you're not yet convinced of a purchase, you'll want to play the demo.
If you purchased the Borderlands Game of the Year Edition, you're supposed to have first dibs on that demo, and the fans received a cool e-mail from developer Gearbox. We've seen that message from a few DNF fans; Gearbox is asking them to have the "most accurate up to date information" for their First Access profiles. But the interesting part is that they add a deadline: May 15. So, can we assume the demo will be ready to go for those First Access members next week…? An official announcement is forthcoming but in the meantime, we'd like to assume some lucky gamers will get their first glance of the Duke's new adventure in a matter of days. For my part, I don't need any further incentive. The game is a guaranteed Game of the Year winner for 2011. It's going to win every possible award from every possible source.
…logically, any game that takes 13 years to produce has to be the best thing since sliced bread. It's a rule.

We're going on, what, 4 weeks of Tuesdays without an update? I wonder how huge that update will be when things start to get back to normal.
i guess sony is making sure that the network has balls of steel before they activate it
Not sure when you last checked the blog but they said "at least a few more days" so within the week I'd think it should be up like Highlander was saying in another post.
Here's hoping we get some functionality in a few days.

Indeed I also hope they come through with it in a few days time. I'm ready to sync some damn trophies already. Also would love to try out the DNF demo. I should break out the Saturn and play DN:3D to get ready.
I was trying to save money but now I'm remembering how many good games are coming in the next couple months…. /sigh

Well in truth I've never been a duke nukem fan and had no interest in this game, but if there's a demo I will play it because in all honesty I have found some true gems that way.
Until I played the infamous demo for some reason I thought it was a game about a rapper. Glad I didn't miss out on what is now one of my favorite games.

yeah when it came out, I had not yet discovered psx and had only had internet for a couple months and hadn't really started looking up games.
I was mostly playing ps2 rpgs I hadn't played and ps3 games that friends suggested.
PSN has been down 3 weeks…21 days = 3weeks…if you use a 7 day week like everyone else in the world

Well, I'm definitely getting the Duke so the demo should be some good tide over fun. Consider it downloaded as soon as it can be.

out of all the times it could of gone down, it just had to be when one of my most anticipated games portal 2 was out, and when my most anticipated title of the year infamous 2 had a beta, and when one of my most anticipated games of the year RFA had a demo!

I've already played the duke demo. Was good. Had a classic feel to it.
Only thing is it will probably only be good the first playthrough after you've heard all the jokes
The new Shrinkage trailer is utterly fantastic and points to all the things games are missing today.
DNF will be my 1st user review here. I've been urged to do one as i usually do music and was told it should be my job lol So i'll give it a go….even if i'm not good at doing games, at least i gave it a go and got my opinion out there.
