Rockstar has revealed the exclusive Social Club features for their upcoming crime thriller, L.A. Noire . Members will gain access to the unlockable Chicago Lightning Suit that enhances the accuracy of a shotgun or machine gun, and players connected online will be able to view the Social Club's "Ask the Community" feature. Basically, this lets you consult the community for help, which may be invaluable, considering the depth and complexity of this quest. Plus, the Social Club website "will offer a wealth of robust game progress stat tracking and friend comparison features that members have come to expect, including enhanced versions of the checklists that everyone loved with Red Dead Redemption ." Oh yeah, we remember those checklists.
If that's enough to convince you to join up, head over and enter your information . Just bear in mind that with the PSN down, things are indeed affected. Geez, what isn't?

I signed up just for the RDR stuff, does that mean the suit will unlock automatically?
This is all very interesting but a social club? Really? I just wanna sit down with the game and play it.

More signing up, more information at risk. Just don't know if it is such a good idea to have so many accounts spread across the interwebs…
I will take a look at what Rockstar has to offer though.

A word of advice, Qubex: Create a "trash" mail account (on hotmail, or gmail, or wherever there is free mail acounts) for all these unimportant accounts. A general account just to respond to the "confirm" mails.
As long as you collect all these unimportant ones as one group you may even use the same password on them, for simplicity. I do that, and there's no worry in the world if that password gets exposed or if some spammer get the trashy address.

Hell, that's the 1 game I've done the most marathons in & I've got over 130 hours in just checking out everything, with more hours still to go.
And then it's on to start marathoning the Lost & the Damned & Gay Tony too.

signed up a long time ago and I'm guessing most people who have played any recent rockstar games have because you often get this recently.
So I'm guessing it should just pop up when we sign in or something.
