For a franchise that just recently called it quits with Mortal Kombat: Armageddon , it certainly keeps popping up a lot. The first platform to make a move was the Xbox 360, when Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 appeared on the Xbox Live Arcade last October, but the PS3 has taken the next step in resurrecting old MK classics.
The PlayStation Store will soon see Mortal Kombat II , being prepared by the same team responsible for UMK3 on the Live Arcade, and slated for a March release. Supposedly, the timeless title will get the benefit of online multiplayer and the option of 720p resolution, which ought to satisfy both casual and hardcore fans alike. For more info, you can check the official MK 2 site here , but you had best be of age, buddy!
March just keeps getting bigger and better with each passing day, doesn't it?
