It's one of those really promising PlayStation Network titles that should have your attention.
In development at VectorCell under the veteran guiding hand of Paul Cuisset ( Flashback , Moto Racer ), AMY is a dark, hunting, post-apocalyptic adventure, and new details have arrived today.
It's set in 2034 in Silver City; a comet has struck and a deadly virus is spreading fast. Players will assume the role of Lana, who is also infected, but insists on surviving. She becomes acquainted with Amy, an 8-year-old with strange powers; together, they must fight or escape from infected humans. The duo allows players to sample a cooperative style of gameplay, which will require us to plan ahead and pay close attention to our surroundings. Amy may be special but she's no warrior so it's up to Lana. On the other hand, Amy can do things that Lana can't, so… Here's a snippet about the gameplay:
"In addition to the unique co-op gameplay, AMY features original stealth-action elements and an emphasis fierce melee combat. Because Lana and Amy are often weaker than their enemies, players must choose to fight, or escape by running, pushing enemies away or hiding until the creatures depart. Adding yet another twist to the gameplay, players must balance Lana's level of infection in order to navigate monster-ridden areas. When Lana allows herself to succumb to the virus by separating herself from Amy, she is no longer attacked by the bloodthirsty creatures. But if she's exposed too long without protection, she will not make it through alive."
This should be quite the interesting game. And hey, with Resident Evil going all squad-based shooter on us, maybe the survival/horror fans should look elsewhere…and this one, coming out in June, could fit the bill nicely.
Plot is cliché, but it's a PSN title, so you shouldn't expect anything else, but….it's Paul Cuisset! Reason enough to believe in this.
Gameplay sounds pretty good. Siren esq. I hope it has the Flashback cyberpunk esq feel.
Looking forward to it. Hopefully plus members get a discount.
Sounds interesting
One to keep an eye on

I foresee issues. If you're playing alone and the AI has any weak points we're going to be left with one of those games making us scream at the tv. "Why did you just walk over there and get killed?"
I hope not, but it sounds like it could be a babysitter of a game.
This game reminds me of the movie Night of the Comet .
looks interesting!
shame its a PSN title.
another to put on the want but cant have list.
🙁
sigh.
one day developers and publishers will learn releasing games on PSN is effectively cutting there sales in quarter!
Still very keen for this.
