It's bound to be one of the year's biggest releases, and it might have a solidified release date…should you choose to believe retailers.
While Amazon and other major sources still have the December 31, 2011 placeholder date for Mass Effect 3 , it seems two retailers (in different regions, mind you), have a more specific date: November 10. According to TheGameReviews , UK retailer Game says the next BioWare gem will be ready to go in November. That's a little more specific than the vague "holiday 2011" estimate the title officially holds. Intrigued by this, we contacted several local GameStops and found out that ME3 now has a November 10, 2011 launch date. That sounds plenty believable – even if it falls on a Thursday rather than a Tuesday – and it fits in nicely with that "holiday 2011" label. If true, PlayStation 3 owners have 9 days to complete Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception , which arrives on November 1. …gotta have a working schedule for the fall, you know.
So anyway, maybe we'll hear an official announcement this week. If we do, yet another blockbuster has a fixed 2011 date, so save your cash.
Related Game(s): Mass Effect 3
I work in Game in the UK, and we havnt been told this yet. I just got back from work now too.
Games release on a Friday here anyway.
For what is probably my most anticipated game,(My dis-satisfaction for NG3 info gave me cause to change my avatar. Take that Tecmo grrrrrrr) I hope they use all the time they can to make it the best.
What is your avatar?
It appears to be from Vanquish world, his avatar that is 🙂
Vanquish is fail
Aye, it is Vanquish. I had a chance to play about 4-5 hours of it. I liked it a lot. I'll be snagging it some time for sure. Platinum Games is a real winning team for me. Now if someone could tell their art designer that their chicks don't look good with shrunken heads. Thankfully, it
s something not found in Vanquish, but Bayonetta and this Anarachy Reins game? poopy females
Really looking forward to this final installment of the trilogy. Hope it goes out with a bang. Until the inevitable spin-offs come out of course lol.
few games have had the impact on me that me2 has this gen. the depth of its universe, and charcters made it feel so real to me. it really sucked me in. loved it.
Still not done with ME2, Dragon Age II got in the way, but I finally beat that. Very unhappy with the ending.
These days more often then not one is disappointed! I haven't got ME2, but i will get it eventually!

I hope ME2 has a decent ending, I mean I know it's not a real ending since ME3 is coming, but it should at least tell what happens to everybody you know.
I was just about to say ME2's ending on the other hand is one of the better ones. Of course, there are multiple ones depending what decisions you take, and it isn't remarkably revealing or long, but the ending battles, the squadron selection, the cutscenes, the final boss battle, the decision, the outcomes, and the music and cinematics are expertly tailored, and builds an ending that is both satisfying, and amps up your psyche meter for the impending sequel.
Perfect….Mass Effect 3 and Skyrim for November.
How did you feel about the rest of the game? Loved Origins, on the fence about part 2!
(that was meant for WorldsEnd, feckin computer just went crazy)

I'm kind of torn, it's a solid game. I had to give it an 8.3 mostly because of the poor graphics and technical glitches. But on a personal note I thought it was really cool, however it is difficult to appreciate the overall story until it is actually complete. While playing it it actually just feels like a ton of side quests all based in the same constricted area. There's no world to explore, no new towns, etc.
But there's plenty to do, the conversation system is really a step up, plenty of depth to customization (even without friends armor) and the fact that the narrative is very character oriented is a huge step forward for me. Every decision you make really does have an impact either right away or down the line.
Origins was more of a true fantasy epic, DAII is more of a study of the sociopolitical aspects of a city-state in a fantasy setting.
Thanks mate. I think I'll see if I can get a cheap copy somewhere. EA games usually drop price quick. Sounds like it's worth a shot anyway.
It IS definitely worth a playthrough, and it's worthy of my collection so I won't ever sell it. You can take that for what its worth.
Agree with World. Great game, not classic.

Good news that means in November ME2 on ps3 will be super cheap and I can pick it around that time.
I just completed the game Tueday, and the Arrival DLC this morning.
It is one of my favourite games of all time (most of which come from the PS1 RPG era).
A fantastic game. Well worth the 60+ hours I put into it. After I complete DA2 and Motorstorm:A, I will play through on Insanity – my only trophy left before platinum.
Nice! Uncharted 3, Mass Effect 3 and Elder Scrolls V all around Novmeber. Start saving now boys!
Good to hear, it's a day one purchase for me.
Bout to pick up Shift 2 tonight. 7th purchase this year already! Next up Socom 4.
On topic: I can't wait for ME3. Loved 2. Couldn't put it down till I was done. I really wish Dragon Age 2 was up to quality level with Mass Effect. And I'm really irratated with all the go fetch this for me etc thing. I want to play the story not go fetch a piece of wood for someone.
Nine days to finish Uncharted 3… But only one to finish ME3. Skyrim will dominate this.
I think it will take less than a week to beat UC3, but then again…you know it's going to have some serious replay value like Uncharted 2. Mass Effect 3 should be another great 60hrs worth of gameplay and Skyrim should be the best of the best.
While I am definitely going to buy Mass Effect 3, I am not going to rush playing Uncharted 3 just for it. Just my personal opinion. Makes me wish that the two games are released a little far apart.
I probably won't get ME3 until 2012 because I'll be too busy playing the SP and MP for U3, Battlefield 3 and Skyrim. ME2 was solid but overall just an average game for me, it didn't blow my mind gameplay or story wise. I am interested to see shit go down on earth, that could be interesting.
ME2 didn't blow you away at all…WOW…I thought it was the best game I ever played.
This, UC3, and Skyrim are all day one purchases. Hope my GF doesn't feel left out during the holidays…lol
Cool! Very excited about ME3. So is Dragon Age 2 Worth buying? I recently picket up the Ultimate Edition of Dragon Age Origins for the Ps3, and i think it was worth the money. So should i pick up Dragon Age 2 now or should i wait for a better offer?
november 25 according to mightyape.
i hope its not, i hope its one of the last games to release this year because its going to take a long time to finish and i really want to take my time with it!
i wish it would release in december because assassins creed 3 is releasing late november and that will take a while to finish.
not to mention the last guardian and twisted metal and ratchet and clank all for one are also slated for november along with battlefield 3 and MW3.
O, and dont forget skirm.
I was hoping for a December release date for ME3 so I can spend oodles of time with U3…now, if this date proves to be true I will have a very hard time thinking what to play….it's like choosing between your own children your favourite child :S You just know you can't do that DX!
ME2 no doubt ranks up with my ALL time favorite games. Probably my Top choice really. I Love the story and the conversation wheel element. It has been my first real exposure to an RPG. I have played through to completion with three different versions of Shepard and have started two more new games with two other different versions of Shepard. I am not the type to continue playing a game over and over but ME2 just draws me in and it is slightly different every time. I am anxiously awaiting ME3 as well as U3 but if I have to choose one to play then I will go with ME3 and wait on U3. Why is this supposed to be the final ME game? t seems to me that Bioware could continue on with the ME world and the Shepard character longer… Anyway I will enjoy these games as much as I can!
Good things come to an end right? That's why they're worthy of remembrance.
