Hunted: The Demon's Forge may not currently be on your radar, but after watching this, it might be…
The hack 'n slash adventure game from Bethesda has its roots in co-op play – or so we've heard – and this new gameplay footage solidifies that theory. There are two warriors in the game, and you and a friend can tear through the evil hordes that swarm the landscape. There's the brawny melee warrior and the wily elf who specializes in long-range combat; together, they're quite the formidable duo.
The game doesn't look half bad and might act as a nice change of pace. The setting is dark and gory and the action will be ceaseless; the story and characters obviously take a back seat in this one, and we're fine with that.
yeah…i have to say i wasnt sure about this game at first but the more i see of it the more i want to add it to my collection.
I'm with you I also wasn't quite sure at 1st cause I'd thought it would be one of those game were your constantly baby-sitting but the more vids I watched the more intrigued I've become.
I've been following this game for awhile! It looks great. I need a co-op fix too, with some hack-n-slash. Just don't want to wait til May, boo!
Color me intrigued…
I've been interested in it for a while, but due to it's release date and the uncertainty of its quality, I'll be waiting until I can get it on the cheap.
It's only a week before Infamous 2, so I'll have all my money tied up in lighting.
Setting up the perfect lighting in your living room so you can enjoy inFamous 2 properly?
</sarcasm>
lol, oops lightning of course.
That trailer looks pretty good but I can't shake the feeling this is gonna be around a 7.
I have that same feeling. However some of my favorite and most fun games of 2010 were in the 7's.
So that isn't necessarily a bad thing if this game is in the that range.
I disagree it looks like it might turnout to be a little higher lan a 7…Hmmmm maybe more like an 8/8.5 to me at least, the voice acting sounds really good to.
I agree there, but I don't typically buy 7s for full price unless they just excite my pants off for some reason.
Oh yeah, I won't be paying full price, I usually buy them around the $30-$40 range, if I am excited about them. If I'm still unsure after the review I wait until I find it for $20.
This game has always looked good to me. Only problem I can see is repetitiveness. If they can vary the gameplay and offer some different locations this could be a winner. They know the 2011 line up so they will have to be on their game to get sales. If this game gets scores around 6 or 6.5 it will fail. I can just see the responses "I was going to get this but after reading the review I will pass". I hope this doesn't happen and they come up with a rich game that offers online and couch coop. Good luck!
