John-ShepardSome years back, we heard about another "Hero" iteration: Dance Hero . But then it disappeared.
And now, after Activision ditched Guitar Hero and DJ Hero , everyone has assumed we wouldn't be seeing any more games with "Hero" in the title. …bad assumption, of course. According to Kotaku , Dance Hero is actually in the works and might arrive some time soon. Apparently, we even have a few of the songs that will be included: "2012" by Jay Sean, "Out Of Space" by The Prodigy, "The Way I Are" by Timbaland, and "Take Over Control" by Afrojack. We don't have any concrete information yet – no estimated release date, no list of targeted platforms – but one has to assume the game will be compatible with all motion-sensing technology. So we're thinking PS3, 360 and Wii; these days, all three can participate in such vigorous and party-oriented productions. Also, bear in mind that Dance on Broadway will release for the PS3 this month, and next month, we can expect Michael Jackson: The Experience .
So obviously, we've moved past plastic instruments and are now focusing on our bodies via advanced electronic reading. Well, that's…cheaper, right?

first time ive actually heard about a "hero" game and did not want it!
wish antivision would just release a GH HD collection containing 1,2, rocks the 80s.
would be nice to have 3 in there to, i kno pointless since it did release on the ps3, but it could certainly use some sprucing up!
doubt it though, but then DNF is coming out may 5th so i guess theres a first time for everything!
maybe one can dream, maybe it is possible for me to wake up tomorrow and see scooby serving my breakfast!
When's Antivision's release date for Kazoo Hero??
Not interested. Dance Central on Kinect is the only quality dancing game out there and I am plenty happy with it.
Harmonix are quality, eg. Guitar Hero II, Rock Band 3 and Dance Central.
Activision are quantity, eg. GH III, World Tour, Greatest Hits, On Tour, Mobile, Metallica, Van Halen, GH 5, GH Warriors of Rock, DJ Hero, DJ 2 and Band Hero.
And where on earth is that Orchestra Hero game I demanded months ago?!?!? I'm still waiting on that 32 piece plastic box set!!!
in other news, sites are reporting ico/sotc collection is delayed until much later in the year.
Never really got into these types of games, and i don't think i will. It just doesn't appeal to me at all.
pass, I'll just stick with the old DDR Max games for PS2 if I feel like using a game to get a workout.
