When it comes to role-playing games, you often need to make important decisions in regards to character development.
Well, if you want an edge heading into Dragon Age II , feel free to visit the BioWare Social Network , where a member has posted up all the talents and abilities for all the available classes. Just reading through gives you a great idea of what to expect from any given class; of how to approach the gameplay with certain skill sets. The Warrior has stuff like Shield Defense and Perception, the Vanguard has skills like Assail, Muscle and Cleave, and the Elemental can have fun stuff like Cone of Cold, Searing Fireball and Firestorm. There's a serious amount of skills and as you can see, it illustrates the depth and versatility of this highly anticipated sequel. It will take you a while to read through all the talents and abilities on the list but you might hit upon something that really speaks to you. Are you the type of player who comes straight ahead, swinging like mad? Or do you intend to stay back and be more strategic and clever? Or maybe something in between?
Well, that's the point of an RPG, isn't it? Give us a chance to be what we want to be in an impossible fantasy setting.

Wow the ability names are dumb and repetitive. I'm sure the game will be awesome, but did they just get out the thesaurus to name the abilities?
I like to cast "Cone of Silence" sometimes in real life.
lol, but did you read them? I was going down the list and was actually waiting to read the ability
Bash
Super Bash
Super Duper Bash
Lol, really? The creative team at Bioware couldn't do better? I guess the abilities will be easy to recognize.
I didn't actually click the link, that is REALLY stupid. But I guess there could be worse things in the world.
Yeah, it just made me laugh, because here are some actual ability names.
start with
1. Mighty blow
2. Shattering blow
3. Killer blow
Then a little lower you get
7. Whirlwind
8. Tornado
9. Cyclone
LOL, see what I mean, just silly.
You gonna be a Mage again Ben?
I like to balance a physically strong character with some dexterity and fleet of foot. Vanguard might do it for me. Can't wait to play this gem. I need more info on what the old save file will do though.
Same here. I pre-ordered this for the PC because that is where I played Dragon Age: Origins. It would be a waste if the DA:O save file wont have a great impact on Dragon Age II. I could have just pre-ordered it for the PS3 if that be the case.
I'm not expecting much from DA:O save file. It will probably be some very minor details like in ME2. Especially since DA2 has new character.
I want this game so bad. Rogue all the way.
still a little iffy on this.
i really enjoyed the original, but RPGs always take light years to finish and crysis 2, homefront and a few others are only days away from it!
O, and not to mention biowares last ps3 game corrupted my saves so im kinda boycotting them for the moment till they give me my refund.
only if i could download a demo.
I don't think that they will give you a refund unless your version of the game is the one that is broken. Mine had problems with DLC but it auto corrected for some reason.
I saw a gameplay video of this and the UI is really bugging me. Looks too simple
The DLC is coming out tomorrow.
no, they will otherwise department of fair trading and my layer will be in contact with them.
Either Rouge subturefudge or spirit mage.
Did someone say fudge?
Lets just say that I suck at spelling.
