Good news is, you still have a shot: as announced at the game's official site , gamers in both the SCEA and SCEE territories have another chance at 300 codes that allow entry into the upcoming Killzone 3 Public Beta Trial. You just have to be over the age of 18 and have a valid Twitter account; then, just follow the three simple steps you see through the link above. So Tweet away and hope! Guerrilla will randomly select 150 from each territory and those lucky fans will receive an e-mail on October 25 that provides them with the beta details and the access code. This fits in line with the other way to score entry into the beta, where you have to be a Plus member and download the KZ3 theme on the Store; the first 5,000 who do so in North America and Europe will gain entry. See, they're trying to be all equal in the distribution of these codes.
This is one beta trial that's going to get a ton of attention and we hope some of you guys land a spot. February isn't too far off now!

OMG!!!!!! I checked my e-mail and I got an invite!. Im so happy, Im not even a plus member, Im downloading it right now. Only thing that sucks is that Im gonna be in Washington for the next four days and won't be able to play it, and I wonder how long it last?. Im still really happy!.
How large (MB or GB) is the beta? How long do you have it for?

It was a little more then a gig.
I got my beta key and I played a couple rounds last night to try it out. I really like it. Definitely still Killzone. It seems you don't have to shoot someone quite so many times to kill them this time around which I enjoy. No real issues that I noticed except for the sound cutting out once for a couple seconds when I was getting shot at by a few people at the same time. I'll give some more impressions when I get around to play more but I have a ton of school work to do this week… 🙁

I'll survive if they don't pick me, I wouldn't mind all of KZ3 being one big awesome surprise in the final package when I get it.

Hmmm, I've never done a beta.
Half of me really want's to try one out, just to see what it's like & do my part in helping to smooth out any kinks.
But my more dominate side says "NO, we don't do MP, and we'd rather wait for the real less buggy version to release so it doesn't spoil it for us.

When I 1st played Killzone on the PS2 i was amazed. I've never played a better shooter than that! But not, unfortunately I've missed out on Killzone 2 and need to buy it 1st before Killzone 3.

correction EU got 10000 codes for the KZ3 theme, everything else was 5000.
hope this wont be too big, already wasted 4GBs downloading that crap they called the assassins creed brotherhood beta!
so disappointed move support is not included, would of been the perfect opportunity for GG to test the controls make sure there smooth, and watch the performance to decide if they want move and DS3 people in the same matches.
would love to see how it turns out. the single player should be epic, but if the multiplayer comes out into the big boys playing field then it'll oooowwwwnnnn.
i value single player, just a fan of multi.
