Rockstar Games has announced new details for the new Undead Nightmare Pack for Red Dead Redemption . It'll be available on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace on October 26, and it'll introduce a new single-player storyline plus all-new multiplayer content. The zombies that are suddenly infesting the frontier are decimating the landscape and running amok; the uninfected must battle the infected and in short, things have really gone to hell. John Marsten must find a cure and at the same time, fend off four different kinds of zombies, each with unique characteristics. On top of which, other nasty beasts now roam the land, and that includes undead versions of cougars, bears and wolves. To assist in your quest, you'll get new weapons like the Blunderbuss, Tomohawk and Explosive Rifle and that fresh single-player experience will boast new challenges, quests and events. What more could one ask for?
For multiplayer, we'll receive the new Undead Overrun mode, where players must survive against wave after wave of zombies. But wait, there's more: Take-Two will release a single, standalone disc called Undead Nightmare , and it'll feature the Undead Nightmare Pack, the Outlaws to the End Co-Op Mission Pack, the Legends and Killers Pack, the Liars and Cheats Pack and all the Multiplayer Free Roam modes released to date. You can nab it all for the price of $29.99. The cool part? You do not need a copy of RDR to play. If you only want The Undead Nightmare Pack, you can grab it for $9.99 or 800 Microsoft Points.

This is good news. I'm glad to see we get to play as John instead of play as his son.
I'm also happy I waited to purchase any of the dlc now that you can buy them all together for a cheaper price. I was hoping they would make a bundle price eventually.
Absolutely loved this game. Only game I have devoted the time to platinum.

wow get this dlc and honestly i was hoping they would coninue the game through dlc so this is a major plus GTA can wait and rockstar great job this gen

Ummm, I like zombies but I dunno if I'll get this. I still have to finish the bloody regular game and I'm getting tired of the gameplay.
We need a full on zombie game on PS3. Dead Rising 2 looks low budget, RE5 is an action game, the PSN games don't do it for me.

I told my brother about this dlc because he's babysitting my ps3 and has finished Red Dead Redemption. His response was "holy crap!". I figure tell him about it then he can pay for it so when I'm home during the holidays it'll be there for me. Mmwhahaha.

RDR sure got a lot of DLC, I think I'll wait for the GOTY edition. It's a no-brainer it's coming.
And this Undead pack comes with single and multiplayer content too.
Wait, so will the new disc still use the old RDR gamedata? Since I don't wanna go through all that leveling up again for my sweet albino buffalo….

Definitely one of my favorite games but I don't think adding zombies will make it any better. The single player sounds very intriguing, but we'll see, it's usually all the same where zombies are concerned.
Those regular grizzlies made me shat my pants. Having now seen some pics of the zombies versions…..well, let's just say I'm gonna stay out of the woods.

I can see why they left this as the last of the announced DLC. It's a lot more tempting for 10 bucks than multiplayer card games and a few more hideouts.
RDR Zombies? Definitely a d1p for me! I've been waiting to hear more about this.
Zombiis (proper spelling) need a reboot, instead of just being a crazy addition to games. Make em scary again and put em in a scary game.

All or most of the DLC on one disc sounds cool just like R* did GTA with EFLC. I'm glad i didn't download anything but the free stuff. The Disc DLC will be D1P for me.
This is the one I've been waiting for. Right on time for Halloween too. That's when I'm most on the lookout for zombies around my house. Didn't bother with the other DLC but this one is mine! I love this game. Haven't finished the single player yet but loving every minute of it. This has to be game of the year. I loved GOW but this one is just in it's own universe. I hope there's some undead Armadillos. LOL
