Who remembers Crazy Taxi ? It's one of the Dreamcast's most entertaining – and oddly addictive – titles and it's coming back…
As most of you know, Sega plans to release several of the DC's games in digital form; they'll be hitting the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade for those who wish to take a walk down memory lane. And now, the publisher has revealed that Crazy Taxi will be ready to go towards the end of November. The PS3 version of Hitmaker's game will drop on November 24 and it'll cost you $9.99 or 800 Microsoft Points, depending on the service you wish to use. Overhauled to boast new high-definition visuals and Trophies/Achievements, gamers will be able to sample two modes: Arcade Mode and Original Mode. Can you make your precious deliveries in the time allotted? Can you handle all sorts of obstructions and obstacles in your path? This was one of those games that sort of hooked you from the get-go and kept you playing for a long, long time. There were a few DC games that managed to do that and we're hoping we'll see them on the PSN/XBLA as well.
We just hope it doesn't show its age as painfully as Sonic Adventure . That was sort of depressing.
Related Game(s): Crazy Taxi
Will pass on it. The game was fun in bursts but I remember having the dreamcast title and the novelty wore of quickly. Just like Sonic Adventure it will show its age. Very repetitive.
As a Dreamcast owner, it's a must buy. Crazy Taxi was one of the primary reasons I bought the Dreamcast 9 years ago, and I played the game to death. Adding trophies support makes it even more addictive (not that it is not addicive enough already). Here's hoping SEGA will also release Jet Grind Radio on the PSN soon.
Funny thing, I have this for my DC but have never played it. Might have to look for it in my collection.
Edit: Skies of Arcadia man, make it happen, that game could be soooo good with a new coat of paint and the added voices they cut, etc. And ResiEvil C.V. I just hope they come faster than the PS1 classics.
DC4Evah biatches.

I already have it for my Dreamcast too, but the upgraded HD & trophies sound darn good.
Still have this on my Dreamcast. I don't think I can ever listen to The Offspring anymore because of this game.
Never played Crazy Taxi. Maybe I'll look at it when it arrives. See if those trophies are worth my while.
We know you're a Trophy Whore…you're going to get this game dude.
You deduced that on your own did you? You PC gamers are so smart.
"Never played Crazy Taxi."
If you can find a arcade chances you'll still find the game(along with the sequels) on the floor.
Anyhow my Dreamcast version is good enough, especially since this CT title has technically been edited.
Seriously though, SEGA is wasting thier time re-releasing Dreamcast relics when its just better to convert and release Model 2 ,Model 3,NAOMI games such as Dirt Devils, SEGA Strike Fighter, Star Wars:Arcade Trilogy, Club Kart, Planet Harriers, SpikeOut/Slashout, etc…
Except this is the DC code not the PS2 code.
Dreamcast 2 baby… believe.
sweet!
really hope we start to see lots more remakes of old games, really happy PoP is getting a collection.
id kill to get a SC collection, or even better MK shaolin monks, deception and deadly aliance.
now that would be SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!
A game, i was never fond of (Hey at least i am being honest!) But the more Dreamcast games released on store the better 🙂
I wasted half my life playing this game on the ps2. I'll probably get it on PSN.
Me, too, still have it in fact. It will be nice to not have to pop the disc in.
