Sackboy Part 2 To Get Move Controls Via DLC Add-On

LittleBigPlanet is another of those games that could really benefit from the PlayStation Move's pinpoint accuracy.

For a while, there were rumors that Media Molecule would release a patch for the original LBP that would enable Move controls. But we've moved past that now, and we're talking about Move for the sequel. According to information from the Eurogamer Expo , motion sensing capability will be added to LittleBigPlanet 2 via downloadable add-on some time after the game launches. Basically, it sounds like a two-player affair: one person will control Sackboy with the Dual Shock 3 and the other will control various environmental attributes with the Move wand. The good news is that Media Molecule will put a demo on the LBP2 game disc, and this will include the Move feature. So, if you're unsure about getting or using Move with the game, you can always test it out first. It's too bad that LBP2 couldn't make it this year but there are plenty of other great games scheduled for the fall.

Besides, it makes our job just a bit easier for the Game of the Year Awards. Three huge PlayStation 3 exclusives – God of War III , Heavy Rain , and Gran Turismo 5 – are enough to contend with, but a fourth…?

Wait, so the current LBP hasn't been patched to be Move compatible?

What I wanna know is that how can the full game won't have Move support immediately but the demo have it.

The Move interface probably isn't 100% yet.

He's saying why can you use Move in the free demo, but then have to download DLC to use it when you buy the full game.

Um, quick answer; Money.

one of those three(3) games better be GOTY. LBP2 would of got ti too, but I still rather have LBP2 make it out for the Holidays. 'O well More sells for GT5.

I'm still not sure on move. I will pick it up eventually but not for a while. I like playing with a controller that's true gaming. DS3!
I'll be playing games with my DS3 until the DS4

GT5 countdown: 30 days

I don't really understand. Why, if they're putting a demo on the disc, could they not just put the whole mode on the disc? Oh well, as long as it's a patch later, rather than paid DLC it'll be cool.

And three GOTY nominations this year, as well as Red Dead. Look at next year: KZ3, inFamous 2, LBP2, The Last Guardian, possibly FFVersusXIII, possibly Agent and L.A. Noire. Twisted Metal, and I'm sure I'm missing a couple here. 'Tis going to be nuts next year.
Peace.

Does anyone have any news on Agent?

Yeah, no. Not a thing. R* were supposed to hold a press conference before the end of the year to show off all of their projects, but that doesn't look likely.
Peace.

honestly to me this seems like they dont want to conflict sales of exclusives. gt5 being in development for so long and being held back to not conflict with lbp2 would piss people off. so tell MM to hold it back a few months and polish more. lbp2 is less than 2 years of develpoment assuming they didnt start right away. reminds me of what they did with killzone 2.

delaying this to next year is going to hurt them big time!
i hope they have not delayed the game for the sake of move support, they would of been much better off releasing the game this year than when move controls are ready release a patch.
