Deals, deals, deals. With the holidays looming large on the horizon, we can use all the deals we can get, yes?
Well, a reader has turned us onto Amazon's Gold Box deals for the day at Amazon. They've decided to dedicate all their daily deals to PlayStation 3 stuff today, which means you could really make out like a bandit. The Deal of the Day is in fact Heavy Rain , which is one of the best (and most progressively original) titles of the generation, and just recently received PlayStation Move support. Thanks to the sale, you can nab it today for only $39.99 . Just remember, all these deals disappear as of 11 p.m. tonight, so you had best strike while the iron's hot. With all new games going for $60 and the fresh release of PlayStation Move – which is not exactly cheap – everyone could use a break from full-price games, accessories, and hardware. Besides, it seems GameStop, the biggest brick-and-mortar video game retailer out there, is sort of in the doghouse these days; a lot of gamers even say they avoid the place on a routine basis.
Well, you know, we all have our reasons. Personally, I can't deal with certain employees but sometimes, you just gotta find a decent staff and hope it stays intact for a while.
Amazon's Gold Box deals have sucked hard for the past year.
Looks like it's no different this time.
Also, they have "Spider Man: Shattered Dimensions" with a bonus Art Concept Book for $44.99
But, there's only 27 minutes remaining on that deal though, so you better hurry if you want it.
That angers me since I pre-ordered that game and just received it on Friday. Now here it is on Tuesday for $15 cheaper and the same incentive item. There's no way in hell that Amazon should be able to sell this game for so cheap right after launch.
I'm pretty sure Amazon (an online retailer) can sell their game for whatever price they like, lol. That's pretty much why they sell so many things.
Im hoping that the final deal is the logitec racing wheel
Nice value, too bad i have to pass up a deal like this because my dad doesnt allow me to use paypal anymore. :'(
Amazon doesnt use pay pal so your in luck, that is if he lets you use credit cards
Did you go on a spending spree?
Actually I cant buy stuff online, he has reasons, just cant tell you 🙂
I'm waiting for the one that starts at 8pm "Power up your racing experience"
I hope it's a racing wheel, I want to take full advantage of GT5, even thou using a Wheel isn't even close to GT5 full experience.
GT5=GOTY
who ever doesn't buy heavy rain will receive a virtual slap from your's truly.
ah I missed Spiderman, oh well.
my friend said spiderman was good, but is a bargin bin game.
Yeah I can wait on it, Ben seemed to like it though.
im waitin for the last one..might be modnation.. hope its a very good DEAL =)
I just got Heavy Rain yesterday, waiting for the patch tomorrow. Bought 2 Move last Friday. It was fun last week-end but I am looking forward to play a serious game with that toy.
Sports Champions is fun and worth playing but I'm ready for Heavy Rain also.
Amazon is the best. I think I'll start buying from the exclusively.
Amazon treats their customers right. I give them about 95% of all the money I spend on gaming.
that's the only place i get my games. no sales tax, free shippping, and sometime preorder gift cards. i love amazon.
Ebay is so much better than Amazon. I got Heavy rain sealed for 35.00 shipped three months ago.
no way, amazon is way better. ebay is too shifty.
Shopping on Amazon is certainly better than going to the sweat shop that is GameStop. It's like those kids just had gym and decided they needed to browse around the used games before going home.
Just wipe a dab of Vicks or Tiger balm under your nose.
I'll certainly ignore any in-store BO to get the games I want at the prices I always wind up getting them for.
I say put a wad of vicks at the edge of your nose with some of it hanging out and get as close to people as you can. Might as well have some fun while inside the store.
@ BikerSaint – One day we'll have to compare receipts to see who is getting better deals.
speaking of heavy rain the patch and move edition are out today.
shame the move edition does not release till october here, tis why im downloading the patch now.
i wish QD would do a sequel to heavy rain, or a game exactly like it.
its so unique, and i really enjoyed the catch a killer feel of the game.
as for spiderman, its not out till sept 29 here and thats a massive mistake because dead rising 2 is out on the 24th so ill be too busy with that to even think about spider man!
dead rising 2 > spider man by a long, long, LONG shot!
