Ben-DutkaKazunori Yamauchi stepped up to the podium at this year's Tokyo Game Show to present his long-awaited racer, Gran Turismo 5 .
In addition to revealing a ton of information – some of which we already knew – Yamauchi also wowed the crowd by showing off the different weather effects in a new trailer. The quality in the video below isn't the greatest, but you can easily get the gist…the inherent dynamic realism is pretty damn impressive.
In looking at that, perhaps more supercars should be all-wheel drive. Then again, if you really want to train, take a rear-wheel drive sports car out into the rain or snow; if you can manage to make the first turn, you've already learned something. Combine all this with the day/night transitions and…well, everything else, and GT5's hype has somehow climbed even higher. 11/2/10 can't get here fast enough.
