The PixelJunk games are always good fun. In fact, they're some of the most entertaining titles to be found on the PSN.
We've had everything from PixelJunk Eden to PixelJunk Monsters to PixelJunk Shooter and now, Q Games has announced the next installment: PixelJunk Lifelike . Revealed by Famitsu , the new quirky adventure will be compatible with PlayStation Move and "will integrate a blend of both music and movement, tasking the player to respond to gestural prompts on-screen." The game is estimated to cost about 500 yen, which only comes to around $5.99 for American audiences, and that's pretty darn agreeable. The game isn't far off, either; they say PixelJunk Lifelike will be ready to go in Winter 2010, which means we don't have a long wait. You should expect to hear more about the anticipated downloadable game at Sony's TGS 2010 press conference tomorrow, so be sure to tune in if you're a fan. For those who aren't as familiar with PSN software as they should be, they might want to log on and check out one of the many PixelJunk offerings.
They're well-priced and well worth your time, especially if you're looking for something fresh and original.

I hope PixelJunk will make a compilation disc of their games later on.

…why? Just download them!
Because he's a collector =P
A man's got to know his limitations.
They did, in Japan and Europe.
I bought Wipeout and PixelJunk Collection (only the first three games) from the U.K. I'm also planning on picking up the Last Guy and Pain.
Never had any pixeljunks

Gotta agree with trailer, it's the best tower defense game you can get on the PS3.
I'm still waiting for them to release a PJM2, it's by far my favorite PSN title.
Bleh, I like PixelJunk Shooter more =) going around with your little ship with the different suits (the magnet one was cool) was just so much fun, I'm glad they're making a sequel to it.
LV,
I don't want to start up any kind of usb sticks & memory card collections, all sitting in rows like a bunch of fugly ducklings, or anywhere my physical disc collections.
Plus I really need to upgrade my 60 gigger to a 500 or 640, but no real funds till next year to get that & the external HD I'll need to do the transfer swap-around.
And I don't want to delete anything on my PS3 or have some of my locked game saves gone.
I already lost 2 when my 1st 60Gigger's disc drive started making "raving banshee screams" & had Gamestop replace it.

I hear you Saint. FYI, you can get a 500gig hd for your PS3 for under $60 and a 1TB external for backups for under $70. Just don't eat out for a month and you're golden!
Outlaw locked saves.
And don't say then only outlaws will have locked saves. 😉
Pixeljunk Eden is the best downloadable title I have (sorry Flower). It is really unique, and the soundtrack is way too awesome.
Monsters is mine lol. Still a pixel junk game though.

Sounds cool. I actually just started playing Eden again tonight.
Insta-buy for me 🙂 I love every single pixeljunk game, except racers…but I have it anywayz to support them =D
Ahem… I've only ever bought Shooter, and I am in love with it. I can't wait for the sequel. The other PJ games just didn't do it for me. Don't get me wrong, I know they're excellent games, but I can't get into them.
Now just give us a release date for PixelJunk Shooter 2 and we're set.
No more Junk for me thanks.
Chill, I really liked PixelJunk shooter.
Haven't played Eden yet, just the demo, so I kinda did, but ya get what I mean.
The hours ive put into pjm is unbelievable, superb
