If you're a fan of sci-fi, futuristic shooters with interesting twists, you might be intrigued by the new title from TimeGate Studios.
They've announced the sequel, Section 8: Prejudice , which picks up where the first title left off. Players will be reunited with Captain Alex Corde and the 8th Armored Infantry, nicknamed "Section 8" for their no-holds-barred attacking of extraordinarily dangerous missions. As Corde's squad pursues the last of the resistance in order to deliver a final blow, they uncover a mysterious new threat powerful enough to put a serious crimp in humanity's survival. We'll get an all-new (and longer) story-driven campaign along with a "one-of-a-kind multiplayer experience that gives players unprecedented tactical control over ever-changing team-based combat." Multiple game modes, spawning wherever you desire, Dynamic Combat Missions and over 50 customizable weapons, tools and upgrades await. Said Adel Chaveleh, CEO of TimeGate:
"As you can see, we are very committed to this universe. The development team has tremendous passion for the IP. Feedback from the community and media has been used to drive every single development decision on this project. Prejudice is taking everything popular about the first game of the series and pushing the envelope further. We’ve created a brand new and compelling story-driven single-player experience, expanded the world with new environments and massive amounts of new equipment. Prejudice is a full-blown sequel in every sense."
Section 8: Prejudice is set to release in early 2011 and we should expect more details and info in the coming months. But to learn more, and to check out the first trailer, visit the game's official site .

First!!!
Lol…sorry…I'm new to being first to comment on a story.
I played the 1st Section 8 & it was good, but the story needed more work…

for shame…
I look forward to Ben deleting your comment. If he doesn't I'm spamming Firsts for months.
Let's just say I do a good job keeping the "first" posts away and new members figure it out quick…
Please don't spam forever, LV. It'll…hurt. 😉
You know it was an empty promise! Posting "first" is even below me.

hahah
Lol, that's embarrasing…but whatever
Thanks for the warning on the "First" thing
lol @ all of your thumbs down
Got to admit I've never heard of Section 8 before. Any impressions from players?
Do you like imitation vanilla ice cream that's 3months expired?
Well do you?
I haven't had the pleasure.
It's great with rotten cherries.
I enjoy running/lifting and rewarding myself with some yummy ice cream but most certainly it's NEVER vanilla.
It's not too bad…..it's a real Halo-wannabe though…
It mostly focuses on the multiplayer, the campaign was a let down & the engine used for this game (Unreal 3) makes the game feel hollow and empty

yea, no thanks!
i was stupid enough to get sucked into the hype for section 8 and it sucked donkey balls so ill be staying at least 50KMs away from this at all times!
Yes, but will it have an unattractive digital woman tron-knock-off living in the back of your head that you can put into bombs to turn them off?
the first one looked bad! from the look of the trailers so i probably wont get this one
Well, SOME devs have money.
It's price-point dropped so fast right after releasing on the bot-box, that I was able to pick it out for only $12 used at Gamestop.
So that's really saying something if most of the 360'ers weren't buying it.
But for $15 it was OK, though the graphics kind of sucked, and I never finished it.
Why do crap games continue to get sequels ?
Paid an extravagant price for the first game, and it was horrible. I will not be buying this one.
Well, I don't mind if a crappy game get's a sequel, just as long as the developer & publisher listen to all the gripes from the gamers who've played it.
That way they can fix it so hopefully, it will turn into a decent franchise.
