This is why we're excited about the first details concerning the impending sequel. Capcom has revealed the fact sheet for Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 and the information is quite encouraging. Nathan Spencer and his nifty grappling arm will return and this time, he'll have to face down his most dangerous opponent yet in General Sabio. Developer Fat Shark has improved upon the visuals and environments, and they'll even introduce some all-new mechanics. The highlights are as follows:
We don't have a final release date yet, but it should be ready to go early next year. Rearmed 2 should be high on your must-have digital download list; the full 3D Bionic Commando didn't turn out too well, so we'll stick with the old-school style.

First off let me apologize for posting in this section. I'm just not sure where else to post this. I've been seeing all these stories about all these betas going on, but nothing about MAG's new beta that starts today. Again I am not trying to start any trouble, just thought those that don't check the MAG website often would like to be informed of this really big news. If you could do a little article on this Ben it would be great. If not, well I understand you have a business to run and may just be too busy. But for the sake of PS3 exclusives I hope you do. Bought the 1st one. Haven't brought myself to finish it. Even played it with a friend. Somehow it didn't suit my tastes…
more garbage games from Crapcom i see.
Man, at least wait for a review before calling it crap. Anything with co-op peaks my interest.
just look at capcom's track record. the best game they have release this gen was sf4 and ssf4
Did you even play Bionic Commando: Re-Armed? That game was awesome. Especially, with local co-op. And now you can JUMP!

I've almost played through with everyone.
i found the 1st one so damn boring. i really thought i would like it cuz the original was one of my favorite NES games. I honestly think i wouldve had more fun with the Bionic Commando for the PS3. Its like 3 bucks new now so maybe it wouldnt be a bad investment.
I dunno how I feel about them adding a jump button. Kinda takes away the Bionic Commando feel, don't you think? Hmmm…I just hope they show some awesome head explosions.
yeah the point was that you can't jump… though that's kinda strange in and of itself. oh well.

finally i can play a game and feel like a kid again!
bionic comando rearmed is still on of my favorite PSN titles, and shadow complex is still my favorite downloadable title!
the experimental weapons mode is so much fun, 2D platforming mixed with puzzles = gaming heaven!
I heard the Bionic Commando games were straight bullsh.t.
