Ben-DutkaWhen Sucker Punch unveiled inFamous 2 , everyone was blown away. There was only one small problem: nobody seemed to like the new Cole.
In fact, the backlash was so severe that it couldn't be ignored. The developers eventually gave in and decided to re-overhaul the main character, although still noting that we wouldn't get the original Cole back. Well, we haven't seen that "in-between" Cole since that information, so our first glimpse of him came in the new GamesCom trailer. It's right here and although we only get a quick shot of the new/old Cole, it's enough for now.
It's not a full-motion video as you can see; it's basically a set of still-frame photos set to a classic tune, and it gives us a good sense of the game's atmosphere. If you want to check out that bad-ass gameplay clip we saw just before E3, feel free. Just input that brief image of the new Cole into that bit of gameplay, and you'll get the full picture. Now, about that voice…we sorta liked Cole's original voice, too.

They don't carry over, but anything you take care of 100%, doesn't have to be repeated. Blast shards are needed in both for max charge capacity, but only one play through needs 100% for the trophy.
I can't get the full evil upgrades for cole because I'm short a couple thousand points and I have no missions left.
The change back is nice. I feel like I can relate to the main character again.
There's got to be more to this than what's being said, which is nothing. I wonder if they used the voice and likeness of the same person and now that person is being a d**k about money or something.

I always thought cole sounded a little like raiden the odd time in infamous 1. I think that voice actor (raiden/mgs4) would be good for infamous 2…or maybe I'm fu**ed
