Ben-DutkaDespite the polish and quality of the first Deus Ex: Human Revolution trailer , it clearly didn't show us any gameplay.
That's why the Internet is abuzz with this freshly released video, which incorporates both cut-scene and gameplay elements. For those who are familiar with the series, this is classic Deus Ex ; the atmosphere and smooth first-person control is a welcome site. However, the cover mechanic, apparently done in third-person (if that one part of the video is indeed gameplay), is new, as are plenty of the skills and abilities. The invisibility option is definitely bad-ass, and punching through a wall to grab a foe is just plain sick. Check it out.
If you are not familiar with this franchise, read our preview . This really is an RPG of sorts, in that you will build and enhance your character as time goes on. It's really all up to the player; if you wish to be more stealthy, that's almost always an option; if you want to enforce your will via sheer power, you can do that, too. The piont is, you can tackle opponents and obstacles in numerous ways.
And really, the environment of any Deus Ex game is almost second-to-none. We can't wait for this one.

I've never played a Deus Ex game before, but this is a Day 1 purchase for me. It looks simply stunning.

It's my opinion
It looks like you'll be able to switch between first and third person perspective, which I would totally love. That's my favorite way to have a game like this set up.
Similar to MGS4 and fallout 3, in that in certain situations you could use 3rd person to get around, sneak, jump, roll, or whatever, but when you need to shoot someone in the head, nice 1st person view for the feel of looking down the sights on your gun.
This looks like it could be amazing, but before I get it, I'm waiting for reviews, SE has just let me down too many times this gen for me to put up $60 without even trying it.

It does seem to be Metal Gear Solidish. Not a bad thing. It is a beautiful looking game. Frankly one of the things SE does well is visuals. Will definately check it out. Not sure if its a purchase though.
thats strange because to me the graphics looked kind of… average. I'm not sure how far along the game is in development so it will probably be much more polished by the time of release.

If your a die hard fan of the series you won't need a review. Usually when a series is continued as epic as this the finished product is as good or outshines the prior.

I agree with Ben , i m pretty sure too that it will be that way . Like a lot of people said , it will be a first day pick up .I was sold the moment i saw him melee 2 guy at the same time ,with some luck there will be some three way kill too like in the game , The mark of Kri on ps2( great game btw ) .
