Well, it's official. The Japanese love Twitter.
Now it's ICO and Shadow of the Colossus mastermind Fumito Ueda, who just recently opened his Twitter account on July 27 and has already made good use of it. He mostly talks about personal stuff – he just got himself a 15-inch MacBook Pro – and so far, he has made only one post concerning his newest project, The Last Guardian . However, that post contains some good news :
"Thank you for the support. We should be able to show something at Tokyo Game Show, so look forward to it."
Finally. We really missed it at E3 in June; ever since seeing that unbelievable trailer , we hadn't heard much and although Ueda doesn't specifically mention the name of the game, we can't imagine what else he'd be talking about. Besides, it's long past time to see more of The Last Guardian , don't you think? And how's about some Shadow of the Colossus /ICO HD info, too? These are the types of games that people will always remember, if only because of their fantastic originality and charm.
The Last Guardian is a game the majority of the Ps3 gaming community would like to know more about.
It would be a treat to get more visualisations on this title, and see how far the developers have come with it since the teaser trailer all those months ago.
This has to be one of my most anticipated titles now, along with Killzone 3 and Uncharted 3…

I have high hopes for it because it's the same guy that made shadow of the colossus which was one of the best ps2 games ever
Woohoo! I loved ICO and SotC. I haven't finished SotC yet. I stopped playing it after i read we might see HD updates for the two. I missed out on them during the PS2 days. LimitedVertigo was kind enough to loan me his copy so i could play it. Speaking of…
Bikersaint, did you ever return ICO to LimitedVertigo?
Where are you Limited? We miss you here at PSX. 🙂
…also, where is World 🙁
…yes, where the hell is Limited these days…

Jawknee,
Yes, I got a email from LV around the end of May that he was all moved in his new place, so I sent ICO back to him on the 5th of June.
I also sent him a email letting him know that I dropped it off at the post office, and asking him to let me know when he received it.
I also sent him another email last month too just because I hadn't hear from him.
But since then, I haven't hear not hide or hair from him at all, so I'm hoping nothing bad might have happened to him.
FYI, I'll send him another email in a few minutes & see what happens.
***Edit***
Just send LV another email inquiry & am now awaiting to see if he gets back to me.

I see Limited on PSN every now and again, so he's apparently still alive.

If this was Facebook, I'd be clicking the 'Like' button.
There was three main reasons that I wanted to own a PS3; 1) Metal Gear Solid 4, 2) God of War III, and 3) The next Team ICO title. With two out of those three "needs" being satisfied, there's only one to go. I can't wait for 2011!!!
One of the best stories told in video games.
The original 2 are 2 of Sony's BIGGEST jewels. The Last Guardian has the potential to be PS3's brightest based on Ueda's past work and the trailer alone.
Posted in this topic because it's the subject of art and it needs more awareness.
Fumito Ueda is a genius and an innovator.
Ico and Wanda to KyozÅ(Shadow of the colossus) are pure classics.
No doubt Hitokui no Åwashi Toriko(The Last Guardian) will be another Classic!
Look forward to a gameplay footage.
I'm an action-loving guy so if this game is purely puzzle solving then I'll pass.
Ueda has given me gaming experiences I never even dreamed were possible. As much as I want to hear about TLG, I really just want to get my hands on it and go through it. You know that first time you play through a great game? That feeling never goes away, and I can't wait for this one.
When is TGS?
I think september
Ah, ICO. So many hours spent calling the princess a stupid stoned hussy. Step away from the shadow demons, you dumb bi***.
Lol thanks for that laugh that was exactly what I thought too.
Still good games, and the first thing that intrigued me about ICO was the cover art, for the european release I think it was, very different, and that's what got me. And sotc had me in awe.
Hopefuflly the last guardian will get the goty the first 2 should have gotten.
I can't wait for them to release that HD collection as I missed out on both games and I really want to play them.
Also really excited for last guardian as what I saw at e3 last year looked amazing. I'm hoping they talk about both at TGS so I know how soon to expect them.
ditto.
The PS2 games I missed and regretted most were GOW 1&2 – ICO&Shadow. Thank you, blu-ray.
My husband is really looking forward to this game, i have never played ICO or Shadow of Collossus hoping they bring out HD collection since i've been looking for these games but been told good luck on that.
ditto to you too. Except for the husband part.

I've been looking forward to The Last Guardian since the trailer premiered. This game is mega.
The Last Guardian is on the top of my wanted game list, even surpass FFv13 and MGS Raiden. ICO and Shadow of the Colosus are two of the best adventure games ever made and The Last Guardian will be the best Adventure game created on PS3, period. Pure genius, sheer beauty and artistic design.
I will not hesitate for a second to buy if they put HD ICO and SOTC together with The Last Guardian as a bundle collector PS3 Edition even over $100.

this has always been my most anticipated title, i hope it comes out soon because well it has been in development for over 4 years!
imagine if they came out with a amazing trailer, than live demo, than announced the release date for this year.
ahhh, now that would be a announcement worthy of its hype!
sony really need something for the end of this year, the only exclusive im looking forward too is GT5.
