We know Dead Space 2 is on the way (and we can't wait), but we hadn't counted on another – entirely separate – title in the franchise.
Superannuation has stumbled upon a URL registration for "Dead Space Sabotage," which was created by Electronic Arts on July 29. Ever since this discovery, survival/horror fans have been asking: "okay, what the hell is it for?" Well, that's a bit of a toughie… See, there's a lot of "Dead Space" out there: we've got a prequel novel called "Dead Space: Martyr," an animated feature film – "Dead Space Aftermath" – recently announced at Comic-Con 2010, and a graphic novel called "Dead Space Salvage." Oh wait, and there's Dead Space Ignition , a downloadable title announced at E3 and set to release on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live service this fall. Considering all this, "Sabotage" could fall into most any entertainment venue; maybe it's an official orchestra for the game's soundtrack, and they just put out an album. Or maybe the series is going portable on the PSP/DS. …or maybe we'll just have to wait for EA to spill the beans, because all this guessing will likely get us nowhere.
Well, at any rate, we do love Dead Space . The sequel is really what we care most about right now, but you never know what the future may bring.
I'm really only interested in Dead Space2 at this point. It would be cool if a version for for the PSP appeared, but w. all the other Dead Space stuffs out there I doubt this will be making way for some massive announcement.
Just give us Dead Space 2 already EA, the anticipation is killing me! Arghhhh!!!

EA has gotten some slack here for "emulating" other game franchises lately, and rightly so I guess.
I always saw Dead Space as a Resident Evil ripoff, but I think this is an exception where the "wannabe" is just as good, if not better, than the original source.
Can't wait for part 2.
How is dead space a rip off of RE? They're both 3rd person horror games, but other than that I don't see the resemblance.
yeah thats like saying Killzone is a doom clone, just because it is in the same catagory doesn't mean it is a copy
the silent hill series is more of a ripoff than Dead Space is. Dead Space manage to prove that you can have a game stay true to the genre of horror and be easy to control your character instead of moving around like a tank
I will play, watch and read anything Dead Space. So whatever Sabotage is I'm all over it.
I don't care for all the anime and comics they do for the series but i do however have an interest in the games. If it turns out to be a PSP game i may consider it, As for Dead Space 2 no consideration is necessary 🙂
I'm more interested in the games than the other stuff, but if it's a game, I'd prefer they focus on one at a time so they can keep the quality.
odds are it will be another dead space wii game, that will be given to ps3 owners for free in dead space 3
Wii Dead Space didn't sell that well though, according to the newest Nintendo Power…
Dead Space Mayhem! Nice.
4 words- New SyFy Original Series
lol
50 bucks says its the PSP / DS version of the game.
visceral after all did do a handheld version of dantes inferno, and 90% of the time handheld versions get different titles.
or maybe its a wii version of the game like extraction.
or maybe its a ps move exclusive!
that would be SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!
either way i cant wait for dead space 2 its looking so much better than the first way more action packed!
but thats also my worry, im worried this is not going to have the tension dead space had.
what made dead space such a great game was its atmosphere, it was nail biting tense!
you were constantly walking through a corridor swinging around saying what was that!
more games need that tension, and i fear dead space 2 may have lost it in the efforts of making issac more bad a$$!
