Gaming is big business. …we have to keep repeating that because there are bound to be a bunch of people going, "whoa, so like, bands as big as Linkin Park are like, in video games?" And for the record, the word "like" is starting to irk me.
EA has announced a collaboration with Grammy-award winning rock band Linkin Park for the benefit of the upcoming modern-day shooter, Medal of Honor . The popular group will headline the in-game soundtrack for the game but as an added bonus, the lead song to their new album, "A Thousand Suns," will be featured in EA's project. It's called "The Catalyst" and you can hear it below in an all-new, freshly released trailer. This trailer you see here is a "unique first-of-its-kind mix of live footage and intense modern military action from the Medal of Honor game," and it was directed by the band's Joe Hahn. For more, head to the official site . Said Hahn:
"This is a unique, creative association for us and a collaboration that we are excited about. The opportunity to help introduce 'The Catalyst' via the new Medal of Honor game creates a new bond between EA, our fans, and the band's overall vision for the new digital frontier. We are enormously proud of the music on A Thousand Suns and are excited to have created an exclusive trailer around the lead track."
For the record, Linkin Park was recently named the #1 selling Rock/Alternative Band of the Decade by SoundScan/Billboard, amassing more than 50 million sales worldwide. As for MoH, as if you needed to be reminded, the newest effort is the first in the franchise to focus on a war other than World War II. This time, it's all about the modern war on terror and it's centered in Afghanistan. You will step into the boots of the elite Tier 1 Operator, and the U.S. Military has indeed played a correspondent role in the development of this game.

Their best songs were all metal and rock. Their rap songs were okay too, but everything els, all that soft acoustic stuff….
GTFO
They've never made a metal or rock song. They've all been pop.
pop…don't you mean crap?
Popular is the classification of music that is played on the radio. So, yes, pop = crap.
This game and black ops r different war times, different weapons, so others don't go out and say this game looks better. And Linkin Park, they got some good songs on their albums, not all of their songs r good.

Wht is all dis Linkin Park Hate? Here I will name some of their best IMO!
In the end
Breaking the Habit
Numb
Pushing me away
Crawling
However I will admit tht some of their new songs sucks.
I agree with you completely, except I'd add Lying From You and Hit the Floor.
It's not hatred. We just know better than to listen to some guy spewing out lyrics that he can't relate to. Basically, they're fakes.
I have to say that was a very good music video but if it were a trailer I would remove the live action. I am pretty impressed with how the game is comeing together. I like how it is about a real war rather than a made up one in the near future (I'm looking at you MW2). I love how there are A-10s, they are on of my favorite planes.
This game looks sweeeeeeet.
