But like many others, we weren't the biggest fans of Cole's cosmetic overhaul. Appearing like a skater dude who suddenly got super powers didn't go over well with many fans of the original, and although Sucker Punch tried to explain the reasoning behind the change, it seems the negative feedback has proved overwhelming. According to what the team said at San Diego Comic-Con 2010 , they're changing Cole back! He won't be exactly as he was in the first game, but he'll certainly look "more like he did," which is just fine by us. The new screens and footage that debuted at the event apparently show a very different – and in our eyes, more fitting – protagonist, complete with more hair, tattoos and a few other assets that should prove popular with the fans. So while it's not the old Cole, this new character certainly resembles the original hero more than that punk we've seen recently, and that proves Sucker Punch's loyalty and responsiveness to those who really adored the first title. The mark of a respectable company!
It just goes to show that if enough people complain, and the complaints appear to be both widespread and numerous, good things can happen. Hey, the game wasn't done yet; changing the appearance of the main character was still possible, and you helped make that happen.

The new Cole is better but he'd have to go through some plastic surgery to look like that so putting the old Cole back is right way.

That trailer to InFamous 2 looked and sounded real nice, made my day. This game just got back on my must buy list, glad to see that I'll be playing a real "sequel" to InFamous and not just a game that took the InFamous name. Super cool.

the new cole looked too much like a pretty boy, you know the type of people who spend more time doing their hair and getting ready than they do going out!

cole is suppose to be the every day slum, the guy who got thrown super powers.
hes suppose to kick ass, but its going to be hard to do that if your worried about messing up your hair!

how much do you want to bet if sony just showed the trailer they did at E3 without mentioning infamous and not have the powers from the original infamous.

i was using the term pretty boy and the example of him being so obsessed with his hair as a example, it means hes so obsessed with his look, his fashion hed be too busy to be a superhero.
go watch top gear, watch their review of the Audi TT than maybe, just maybe you will understand what the term pretty boy means.

Thank you Sucker Punch! I wasn't liking the new metro-sexual Cole at all… It's nice to see a developer listen to their fans, if only Square Enix would do the same.
And he looks like David Beckham now as far as what I've been told, rofl
Kudos to Sucker Punch for actually listening to it's fan base instead of doing like so many other companies and going "yeah we hear you guys, our adoring fans, but we're going to do it the way WE want anyways…".
