Michael Jackson: The Experience Dances Into November

Ubisoft made the announcement at E3 2010 but we didn't have all the relevant information at that time. Now we do.

Ubisoft has announced the official name for the anticipated singing/dancing title, plus an estimated release date. It will be known as Michael Jackson: The Experience and will launch in November 2010 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PSP and DS. Players will be able to "take center stage like Michael Jackson himself, and relive some of his most iconic performances," all the while performing many of the King of Pop's classic tunes. Furthermore, we've learned it will be compatible with both the PlayStation Move and Microsoft's Kinect, and both versions will also support microphones, complete with auto-pitch technology to help correct your singing. At the same time, it's also a dancing game similar to Ubisoft's Just Dance . Need anything else? Well, there's four-player jump-in/jump-out gameplay, while the PSP and DS versions will take advantage of what the publisher calls "tap-on rhythm gameplay."  Who's ready to be a legend?

It should be quite the big holiday title for all those who have enjoyed singing and instrument-playing music games in the past, and we'll assume that Jackson's millions of fans will be intrigued, too.

Oh man I thought it was only a dancing game. Now we gotta dance AND sing while waggling? Sounds exhausting.

sister, and other family members.
i would not mind if they were different from each other, bringing something new to the genre.
but there not, there exactly the same, there the guitar heros, releasing 10 sequels with nothing different but the track list.

I wouldve rather had a Sony-exclusive Singstar, but I guess dancing also makes sense.
