Well, maybe she is; the hell do we know? According to Showbiz Spy , the curvaceous beauty, currently well known for her TV show, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," has a shot at landing the leading lady role in the next "Tomb Raider" movie. She would replace Angelina Jolie and although we know nothing about the project – it could even be a straight-to-video thing, which would be sorta funny – it's still going to be a big deal for Kim. The source in question says:
"This will be something very different to Angelina’s Lara. Kim is wanted to play a far more comic-strip version of Lara which would be shot in 3-D and aimed at a teen audience."
Evidently, Kardashian, 29, has been talking about how she wants to act more, and she even took acting lessons for a guest role on "CSI: NY." Furthermore, it seems she "gets scripts sent to her all the time, but unlike so many other famous people she doesn't just want to make a film without first learning the craft." Well, that's certainly a good idea and even noble in its own way, so if true, we should give the woman credit. It's easy to dismiss this idea as just another hot model looking for another money-making venue. …and while I still think I'm gonna do that, I will reserve judgment for now.
And besides, I normally don't like searching for new pics for articles. But this time…could've done that a while longer. Jesus…what the hell .
sorry but i'd rather get a tomb raider movie a lot more than to get an uncharted movie. i dont want hollywood to screw up another thing that i love, and they always find a way to do that. If i want to get an uncharted story, i'll play the game again. by the way, i want to thank sony and kojima for declining a metal gear movie.

i just find it funny that there was a writers strike but we end up with remakes(or overused plots/story), crap movies, special effect heavy movies with less story, and pointless reality shows.
Shes famous cus of her father. OJ Simpsons lawyer. With out that, we probably would have gone on with life not knowing about the Kardashians, and why we need to "keep up with them", and everything would have been peachy!
Hollywood is running out of ideas and we've lost so many great actors lately… im just sad to see the decline of this craft happening in my lifetime T^T just a damn shame.

Someone with talent should be attached. if not I won't care. No matter how hot they are, Lara should be played with the same level of actor angelina. This Kim, I like looking at pictures of her, but that's about it.

I agree with many of the comments. Who in the hell thought that this pairing would be a good idea? Why can't Hollywood just let bad ideas climb into the bushes to die. Lara Croft and the Tomb Raider games have failed to be good for quite a while now, and the movies never were. Let it die, please.

What's wrong with her left eye? Anyways, if she's taking the time to learn how to act maybe she should take the time to pick a halfway decent script. I'm not saying it will be absolutely repulsive,(well it might be) but a 3D movie based on a game aimed at teens?? And if she just has a bad taste in scripts which she apparently gets all the time, well that's what your agent(s) are good for.

Just let the series die if they are going to do this. Prince of Persia actually brought some respectability to video game movies. If they go through with this, it will be a major step backwards in my opinion. She's pretty to look at, but in no way is casting Kim as Lara taking a film project seriously.
They should just find a hooker on any corner, they can pay her less, I really can not see the diff between a hooker and Kim both would be skank any way
