Ben-DutkaLate last year, Sony released The God of War Collection , which featured high-def remastered versions of the first two installments in the esteemed franchise.
Now, Sony wants to know what other PS3 classics should make high-definition resurgences on the PlayStation 3. It has long since been rumored that a collection featuring ICO and Shadow of the Colossus is headed our way, but right now, there's no concrete or official evidence to support the speculation. Even so, you can give them your input by responding to a GoWIII survey Sony apparently sent around; a NeoGAF forumite has posted the last question:
"What titles would you like to see in a future collection (2 or more PS2 titles upgraded with similar features to God of War Collection)?"
Oh man, they're bound to get a bunch of different responses. Perhaps on the top of the list will be games like Final Fantasy X , Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty or – dare we hope – Twisted Metal: Black ? There were plenty of classics in the PS2 days and many of them would greatly benefit from a jump to high-def Blu-Ray and Trophy support. Which titles would you most like to see shine once more?
I hope they will also consider Resident Evil 2 remake in PS3. I'm sure it will be a lot scarier in HD 1080p

Pretty Much anything that appeared on the PS1/PS2 which had sequels would make a great collection release for the PS3.

well the next game forsure would have to be MGS 1 redone, should be easy enought, MGS 2 substance and MGS 3 subsistance all on one bluray, i mean mgs 1 would be pretty easy to re do im sure, and please everybody agree or give this tumbs up, everybody should agree with me here

If we get San Andreas for ps3 I would weep in sheer joy. Vice City would also be a must-buy. Other than that I don't know any ps2 titles, hehe! I were a PC gamer prior to the ps3, and I bought the ps3 only cause I didn't have the patience to wait for the PC version of gtaIV. If I knew back then what a let down GTA IV would turn out to be then I most probably would not have been a ps3 owner today…!

MGS2 and MGS3! And yeah, Onimusha (so that I can give it a try. I still haven't been able to play any Onimusha game, so bring it on.)
Edit: I almost forgot… Zone of the Enders! Nice game that one. Must buy for those who haven't yet tried.

Well, I'm not sure which one's of these might not be exclusive to Playstation family, but I really don't care, because I still want to see ALL of these games on the PS3, done in a much better HD.

Just saying that I would like to see The Legacy of Kain series as one complete game with an emphasis on styling it after Soul Reaver 2 (ambiance and mechanics) and Defiance(with ambiance and without the DMC mechanics,. ie. camera and fighting)and a solid conclusion to the story, maybe Kain fulfilling the prophecy? They must have as good or better acting and music as they did in SR2!
