And although it seems insane that you might have missed Uncharted 2: Among Thieves , at least you can remedy that terrible oversight for a much cheaper price next month. This information is restricted to Europe for now but we'll hope that SCEA follows up with the same details soon… According to Electronic Theatre , SCEE has revealed two new additions to the Platinum lineup for the PlayStation 3: Uncharted 2 and Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time ; both will drop to their new price tags next month and both are well worth your time. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune has been a Platinum Hit for a while, as has Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction (I think). If this information proves true for North America, both of the new games will cost $29.99 and for the experiences they offer, you really can't ask for a better admission fee.
This certainly helps, too, what with all the full-priced games coming out this month that you're probably gonna want…
$30 for one of the most biggest hits on the PS3 for low price, now thats what i call a deal. I hope to see GoW 3 up there, I havent played and I really want my hands on it.

If I didn't already own Uncharted 2, I'd but two copies so they could make the full amount they deserve. I still constantly play the multiplayer, now I have to stop being lazy about getting the Platinum. So close.

Normally I would be upset, cause I bought a game for full $60, only to hear 2 months later it gets slashed in half, but Uncharted 2 didn't disappoint. Worth each penny of the $60 buck and more!

I agree! Uncharted 2 was well worth $60. I actually paid $120, because my girlfriend and I both have PS3s and we play the Multiplayer online together all the time. It's got awesome multiplayer as well as single player. I can't praise that game enough. 🙂
That's cool. What an opportunity for any that missed these stellar titles the first time round. If you haven't got Uncharted 2 yet, your opportunity is on it's way…
Wow, that game just came out last October.
Resistance 2, Little Big Planet, and Killzone 2 all took over a year to go platinum.
This (along with about 10 other titles) is on my list of games to get once I receive the platinums on about 8 other games I own.
Too many good games, not the worst problem to have.
This is good news indeed, I have not played uncharted 2 yet and this is what I have been waiting for. However it will keep waiting until I have thoroughly enjoyed rdr and modnation.
However it still means the time is nearing for me to own this game.
Kraygen, have you play the first Uncharted at least? If not, make sure you do, its just great and it will set you up nicely for 2.
No excuses! If you cannot get Uncharted 2 from it's $30 price tag then the only excuse is that you just don't like epic adventure gaming perfection. I have to admit I am patiently waiting to get A Crack in Time, it looks pretty fun.
Hmm, hopefully this comes to the states soon. My friend needs to get this. He just bought a PS3 a few months ago and we have been beating the hell out of Bad Company 2. He needs to get this so we can LAN and wear the hell out of Uncharted 2.

Yup, hes slowly seeing the light. The lack of True HD exclusives on the Xbox this year has put a wrinkle in his panties. He's been playing his PS3 everyday since he got it. Barely turns the Xbox on anymore.

Still a work in progress. He still doesn't understand the kind of difference blue ray makes. He thinks there is no difference and no reason the DVD can't do what blue ray can. But hes coming around.

I agree with World, I dislike the Platinum cases, with the yellow n stuff, it just doesn't look very nice, that's why I kinda hate that I didn't get Uncharted 1 immediately, I got it 30 bucks cheaper, but the case didn't get more attractive.
Oh well, still 30 bucks cheaper.
They should just take 30 bucks off and put a small sign on the cover or something, instead of giving it a whole new ugly case.
I'll be buying Uncharted 2 about 5 minutes after it hits $30 🙂

I hope this causes a lot of people to pick it up and get on the multiplayer. I am usually not a multiplayer kind of guy but Uncharted 2 does it very well.
Man, basically buy 1, get 1 free. Two of my favorite games last year, and still are. No one will have an excuse not to have them. I'm not really too peeved about getting them day 1 and at full price, because the way I see it, ND and Insomniac deserve it.

I never played Ratchet and Clank before, but Uncharted 2, that's a steal right there! $30!!! That's like offer a PS3 for $300 only it's the CHEAP!!! But you get so much!
that cool, most of their greatest hits line i already bought day 1. The others i dont really want to play. I did beat tools of destruction so i really want to play a crack in time. but for now i gotta save up for the games coming in the fall.

I already picked up R&C used, for only $12 off a guy who was about to trade it in at GS, so at least it was another sale that I kept GS from overcharging anyone later on.
I'll have to get Uncharted 2. I suppose it makes me the Anti-Christ to say that I haven't played it yet.

i was a little worried the game would feel empty and lacking without clank at ratchets side, but they more than made up for that.
im dying to find out what insomniac are working on now.
their new studio is apparently working on a new IP, which is rumored to go multiplatform.
the other, no doubt will be resistance 3.
i know they said that there putting R&C on hold for a little while, but i wish they would just work on that for the rest of their lives!!!!!
R&C is one of the very few titles i can play non stop for days on end without getting bored.
i 100%ed the game ages ago, got my plat!
since then ive put another 15 hours replaying the game, and exploring thats how much i enjoy playing it.
R&C = the best video game series invented EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
