Past Toy Story titles really weren't up to snuff – let's face it – but Sony is putting a ton of effort into Toy Story 3 .
Not only will it be one of the very first titles to support the new PlayStation Move, it will also feature exclusive PlayStation 3 content. For instance, you'll be able to play as Emperor Zurg, the sworn enemy of Buzz Lightyear, and zip around in his specially-themed vehicle. Heck, there will even be an exclusive Zurg level as noted by PlayStation Lifestyle . SCEA senior vice president of publisher relations Rob Dyer chimed in with the following:
"Disney is bringing PlayStation fans a unique and compelling experience through Toy Story 3: The Video Game’s exclusive PS3 content and PlayStation Move mini-games. PS3 is the only platform where players can become the beloved Zurg and hop in his specialized car, or take aim in the shooting gallery with PlayStation Move and experience an unmatched level of precision and realism."
And oh yes, there's a debut video, too.
Okay, so what do you think? We know it's targeting a younger age group but who doesn't like Toy Story ? Let's just hope they get the gameplay and controls right; it should also be a strong launch game for Move.

Here's some more I found on the "Move" support for this title…
As with most major children's films, Toy Story 3 will have a licensed video game counterpart, releasing on nearly every platform imaginable — including platforms from the future. Disney Interactive Studios has confirmed PlayStation Move motion controller support for Toy Story 3.
Like Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition, the game won't offer motion controller support out of the box. The reason?
Toy Story 3's release date -June 15- is months before the Move controller is even available.
A press release clarifies that "players will be able to download mini-games that will be playable with the PlayStation Move when the new motion controller is available." E
Until then, PS3 owners will be able to enjoy additional content exclusive to the platform.
As with Batman:Arkham Asylum, Sony has secured exclusive rights to yet another playable villain. The slightly less disturbed Emperor Zurg will be playable in the game's "Toy Box" mode, a sandbox mode that allows players to create and play free-form challenges.

So any bets on how fast this game will be $19.99?
Hmmm… tough call. But I'll be there to buy it when it does!
"Hello, square person."
I love Toy Story because I grew up with it. I won't pay full price for this though.
I love toy story and so do my kids, I know this will be a great game for my 5 year old heck i'll probably enjoy it with him lol.
I plan on taking my boy to see the movie. It'll be his first time seeing a movie in the theater. Lord knows we've worn out the DVDs of parts 1 & 2.
I don't have any kids, but I'll eventually get this and have a good laugh with it. Toy story has always been hilarious.
I also happened to really like the first toy story game on super nes.
I must be crazy because I think Zurg is a bit cute…….
im actually really looking forward to this, weary but optimistic.
if they do it well it could be a really cool game because really who does not like toy story?
i use to watch the movie every day after school and never got tired of it!
this is like iron man 2 and tom clancys hawx.
great ideas because who does not want to fly a jet fighter, or be iron man?
perfect examples of great ideas let down by sh*t ,too lazy, tight a$$ developers.
hey now, toy story 2 was a great game!
Speaking of trilogys, i think someone should make a next gen matrix. Now THAT would be awesome.
Wow those car physics looked like something out of Hot Wheels for the original playstation where you did stunts to get boosts… kinda makes me wanna play that game again lol.
Can't wait to see the movie!!! Toy Story was like the only disney movie with a good sequel.
Well, technically speaking the sequel were NOT a disney movie, since it was released long before Disney bought Pixar Studios.
And quite frankly I don't even think the Pixar movies of today should be considered a "Disney movie", their movies still got "pixar" written all over them, they are still that good. Ref Wall-E and Up!.

I'm 15 and I am definitely getting this game,I love the toy story game on the nintendo64
Mini games tacked on to an already complete game in order to support a motion controller? I remember that being one of the major arguements by gamers against the Wii. I also remember it being one thing that Sony promised wouldn't happen with Move. Maybe in two or three years the Move will reach it's full potential, however right now it seems alot like we've been there, done that.
The first titles using any new technology will never use it's full potential. That's a rule of thumb.
Totally agree with you Beamboom. Which is why I roll my eyes at claims that the Move will be different. Without being the system's default controller, I don't see how Move can avoid being used for minigames, special modes & Wii ports for the near future. It will be quite a while before enough people have purchased it to warrant a publisher making a AAA game exclusively for the Move motion controller.
Hello square person. That's what I said to all of your collective mothers.
Uhhh four letters!!! GOTY!!! LOL alright i might be biased as I was practically raised on Toy Story!!, I personally love the series, it's just great! I've seen the movies way too many times! and actually I found myself playing Toy Story on the ol' PS1 last month. So in short, I'm sure it will be a fun game to go along with the movie which I most definitely will see in theaters in 3-D. Im a big kid now! LMAO
