NaturalMotion has announced a $50 price point for Backbreaker , which is now set to release for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on June 1. In addition to some supreme physics-based animations – NaturalMotion is responsible for in-game animation tools, Euphoria, Endorphin, and Morpheme – we'll also be looking at what should be the most customizable pigskin game ever. You will have control over many different aspects of this production, including the season mode (which you can jack up to 32 games) and fully customizable teams and players. You can choose everything, right down to the logos for your uniform and the design of the end zones in your chosen stadium, so feel free to be as creative as you wish. We're awfully excited about this one; we were excited when we first heard about it several years back. It seems like Tecmo Bowl for a new generation…or you can just get Tecmo Bowl Throwback . That's another option, of course.
Anyway, we're looking forward to cracking a few skulls and bulling our way through defenders on our way to a TD. This one oughta be a blast.

This game has the potential to take sports video games to another level. The canned animations are what drives gamers crazy. EA needs competition like a fat kid needs sweets.

I'm gonna go back to my round of Super Street Fighter IV, then get a start on Gof of War Collection, play through God of War 3 again (the ending was just … WOW!!) and get a start on Final Fantasy XIII.

It's too bad that we as consumers have been relegated to having no choices when it comes to football games ! It's either Madden or nothing since they signed the exclusive agreement !
Now I've been a fan of Madden since the 16-bit days and while it's been recognized as the standard in video football games, a little variety never hurt !
I think I'll give Back Breaker a look see ! It can't be no worse than the rehashed crap EA calls Madden that we've been subjected too since the 16-bit days !
It's only customizable enough if I can make a team of mean looking midgets. Midget teams or GTFO.

Going to be watching this game for sure. The lack of the NFL might hurt it, but Madden has grown into a stale title for me.
I dont know if I can get used to the camera views
i've liked this physics engine ever since i've seen it used in GTA4. running over people never got old. 🙂
that reminds me, someone should make a new carmageddon.
This game looks okay and as much as I love Madden a change is appreciated for once. I might rent this I can find a rent store that hasn't went out of business yet.
