While Star Wars: The Force Unleashed didn't exactly receive elite review scores from critics, it obviously sold enough to warrant a sequel.
If 7 million total units sold isn't enough, nothing is. And late last year, we knew the sequel would arrive towards the end of 2010, although LucasArts wouldn't nail down a specific launch window. But now, according to the upcoming game's Facebook page , Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II is set to release on October 26. It doesn't mention the platforms but we've long since had the retailer information; the game is coming to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PSP, DS and Wii. If you want to catch a glimpse of the teaser trailer, head over to GameSpot and watch the video; just bear in mind there are some minor spoilers . We do know the sequel should feature Galen "Starkiller" Marek, Darth Vader's understudy that became a big hit with fans of the original title. You may have thought he'd be dead and buried but Marek appears to be very much alive, so we're hoping you liked the protagonist from the first Force Unleashed . But anyway, just about anything with "Star Wars" in the title still sells. The craze may never die…
What's the deal with publishers slapping up significant announcements on Facebook and Twitter? Do we really care about these so-called social sites this much? …I guess we do.

Max, I weep for your grandchildren. But it would be entertaining to watch the fight you will have with your son or son-in-law (which ever the case may be) to try and convince them that seeing them in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 order is the way to go for their wee ones.
Good luck champ.
Not sure I understand your stance. How can seeing Anakin as Vader BEFORE he was a Jedi benefit anything?
The movies are intended to be watch in order, like all stories are. Maybe you are type who starts in the middle of a book.
If they don't know that Anakin becomes Vader, that's even better. Or where the Stormtroopers came from. Starting a story at mid point makes little sense.
Max, I'm just joshing with yah.
However, I have to chuckle at your comment…
"Starting a story at mid point makes little sense."
What order did you watch them in? Am I to assume then that you like to read a book starting in the middle?
Star Wars is unique in that sense. I suppose if you present me with a book that it can be argued that it makes good sense to start in the middle, then I would consider it.
The irony is I am trying to figure the order to watch them with my youngest son when he is ready in a few years. My oldest son and I go back and forth about it as to the pros and cons. Makes for good conversation when you are driving to McDonalds. =)
HA HA! You got me there. I hated watching the Star Wars movies out of sequence. In my book, it was the biggest mistake Lucas made.
Indeed sir. One of kids is still into Star Wars with his dad, the other? It seems he is getting to be too cool. LOL
personally I liked the first one, played it to death, and still do. ..but then I love StarWars…
*offtopic* anyone seen that grindhouse ver of A New Hope yet? lol.. its good!
erm.. just watched the trailer.. wasnt that the trailer for Infamous 2? lol XD
100% not interested in ant kind Facebook, My Space, & not so much for twitting either.
Now, as for StarWars Unleashed 2, well maybe
What a vandal, they will never ask him back again!
Ok, I'll play along… Imagi, what the hell are you talking about???
From the video, the guys antics in the corridor, for all we know it could be a fire exit, most irresponsible.
I really didn't expect to see this until 2011 but bring it on!
