So we know THQ teamed up with SyFy to create a made-for-TV movie , and furthermore, THQ has moved up "Red Faction 4" by at least a year. But what is this game? Well, Superannuation is at it again; they've spotted two new domains for Red Faction: Armageddon and Red Faction: Origins , although we're not sure if these names encompass a single game or these are two separate titles. This series is well known for providing gamers with highly destructible environments; the original Red Faction introduced us to the pioneering GeoMod Technology, which lets you blow apart most any aspect of your immediate environment. This was the primary appeal of Red Faction: Guerrilla , which turned out to be an excellent action title with plenty of very pleasing "wow" moments. For now, we're going to guess that Armageddon is the new full game, but we're hesitant to make a prediction for Origins . Doesn't that sound like some sort of remake…?
Well, anyway, at least know RF won't be dying out any time soon. And that's good; they handled the transition from FPS to TPS pretty darn well, didn't they?
Well the only red faction I ever played was Rf: guerrilla and I personally didn't really care for it. It had a lot of promise but I didn't like the trying to melee people while they are trying to shoot me. I will be interested in future titles tho, hope they just improve on the actual gameplay.
I would very much like to see that movie, can you keep us up to date on it JohnBen?
I certainly hope there's no Red Faction remakes. Guerilla was ok, but I'd rather have a bag of soil than remakes of the old RF games…
you could grow some neat stuff in that soil.
im playing RFG right now, ive forgotten how much fun it is, that and burnout paradise ill never get sick of barrel rolling into a billboard!
please just take the series back to its old roots, like the original red faction game.
its nice to have a spin off every once in a while, but sometimes you need to go back to the series roots.

i have seen the trailers, that and the low violence description on the rating label have crushed me literally!
i loved PoP it is, and always will be one of my favorite series!
i will NEVER! forgive ubisoft for what they have done to my beloved series.
im playing burnout on my 360 since i got a free copy when i bought it.
best game ever, that and R&C are the only 2 games i can play non stop and never get bored.
i still have not downloaded any of the DLC for burnout, i wonder what the paradise island pack is like.
I really got into playing burnout after it was getting dust all over it for a long time ,so I end up buying paradise island pack.Its ok ,it has tonnes of jumps ramps,drift spots.But sad to say that I stop playing it ,maybe I'll dust it off again lol.
The first Red Faction definitely needs a remake. The game literally loads every 5 minutes. It was an excellent shooter and way ahead of it's time. I would also like to see what happened to Parker between the 1st game and Guerrilla.
