Mystery God Of War Site Updated

It's time once again to "guess that announcement!"

If you're a true God of War fan, you're already familiar with the mysterious website known as "SpartansStandTall." The URL was given to all those who managed to score the Platinum Trophy in God of War III and the site has been updated since going live. The latest update now shows half of Kratos' head in the picture and someone's image in flashes of lightning, and that meter in the upper right started off being only one-quarter full and it is now three-quarters full, so we have to assume that the next update will provide us with the new revealing or announcement. The only question is, what will it be? Who's that in the quick flash of lightning? Will we be talking about a new piece of downloadable content? Or will it be something else entirely, like some sort of spin-off? If you had fun playing GoWIII – and really, who didn't? – you should be interested in the final update, which may come in the next month.

Just about anything related to this masterful franchise is worthy of our attention, even though we know SCEA isn't planning a new entry just yet.
