Ben-DutkaNot long ago, I wanted to know where my beloved Devil May Cry series had gone . Then, we heard that in addition to Enslaved , Ninja Theory was working on some mysterious project .
…yeah, I know what you're thinking. "How can those two things be related?" Well, you might be in for a surprise: according to The Silent Chief citing the upcoming May edition of Game Informer, the Heavenly Sword developer is actually working on a new Devil May Cry . Has Capcom really farmed out their acclaimed DMC franchise? The quote is clear:
"Loose Talk has learned that Enslaved isn’t the only game Ninja Theory is working on-we’ve heard that the Cambridge, England developer is being tapped for the next Devil May Cry."
Heavenly Sword really was one of the best PS3 games early on and we've been pining for a sequel ever since. Enslaved really does look promising but something like a new DMC might be right up Ninja Theory's alley. After all, HS really was a lot like DMC and in some ways, this new developer could refine the visuals and style just a bit. We'll still want that cocky, bad-ass attitude, though…
Anyway, we'll definitely have to keep a close eye on this.

Congratulations, you've just proven no one should take anything you say serious.
I prefer the PS3 over the 360, but when fanboys from either side start making accusations that they can't place viable logic too support their statements that really annoys me. Their is absolutely no evidence that NT will make an inferior PS3 version to the 360. If anything they would be more likely to use the PS3 as the lead platform since they have previous experience on it.

"If DMC5 is EXCLUSIVE it will be great"
Of all the examples you listed, not one is EXCLUSIVE, they're good but they could have been great if PS3 exclusive…

I want it to feel like a DMC (DeLorean?). Ninja Theory aren't going to make it exclusive either.
I'm not convinced they'll bring Dante back to glory.
That would be neat…but if Capcom isn't working on it as well, then I doubt the next Devil May Cry will be the same old DMC we've come to know and love…but neither was the 4th game, lol.

meh, didnt care to get no.4, first big instance of a turn coat exclusive, not going to support that really. no matter what anyone tells me, the finished product suffers for not remaining exclusive. only 1 and 3 have been worth their salt.
at first i thought it was impossible, why would capcom slug off one of their most famous titles to another developer.
than i remembered they said there sending well known IPs to other studios and keeping the new IPs close to their chest.
so in other words established IPs will sell well so will let the others turn them to crap, but new IPs are not established so will have to do it ourselves.
hopefully they make DMC5 like DMC3 and less like DMC4.
i enjoyed 4 but the mid switch between characters and having to redo the same missions really bugged the fu*k out of me!
and there is so much backtracking it gets so freaking annoying, you feel like your wandering around in circles for hours!
ive said it once, twice, three times and ill say it again.
ninja gaiden is the best action game out there BAR NONE!
im really interested to see what Valhalla studios is working on now, hopefully it will not be NG but a game like NG so that way we have 2 NG clones.
capcom is hanging on by a thread, the last 4 games of theres i have played absolutely sucked donkey balls!
ill be getting lost planet 2 but if thats not as good as im expecting capcom can kiss my cash goodbye!
