John-ShepardLast year's UFC Undisputed was a really great fighting game; perhaps one of the year's best, depending on who you talk to.
This being the case, there are high expectations for UFC Undisputed 2010 , which is scheduled to drop on May 25. The UFC continues to grow in popularity in the US and with the resurgence of the fighting genre this generation ( Street Fighter IV , Tekken 6 , and Soul Calibur IV have all done very well), there are guaranteed to be many anxious fans out there. And if you want to dive in early, you should know that they're planning on releasing a demo soon: as revealed over at the UFC Undisputed 2010 website , the demo will feature four Light Heavyweights – Mauricio "Shogun" Rua, Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida, Reshad "Sugar" Evans, and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. We'll be able to sample the Exhibition Mode or challenge a buddy to combat in Tournament Mode; they will release more details on these Modes in the near future. They don't have a date for the demo just yet but apparently, they want to have it available on the PSN and Xbox Live Marketplace "a full month" before the final product hits store shelves. That should mean later this month, right?
Perhaps UFC is this generation's boxing. Maybe it could benefit from a classic movie; remember what "Rocky" did for boxing…? If you don't, you're too damn young.

on a side note… im glad to see something to do with this game mentioned on this site. after HR and GOW3 this is my most anticipated game of 2010!!!
The fighting genre has got to be the most boring genre around. I can't believe they've figured out a way to fleece people every year for this. No story, crap controls and awful voice acting. I'm gonna pass on this thing once again.
Tatsunoko vs Capcom is pretty fun. Marvel vs Capcom 2 is still fun too. But the only this gen fighting game i enjoyed was Soul Calibur IV. Haven't played it in almost a year though.
I couldn't possibly be less excited or more underwhelmed.
Oh come on boozing and beating up friends is fun.

I'm not much for fighting game, but I'll still give it a try. Free demo's at my finger tips, who wouldn't take advantage?
i dont get why people clammer for more technical game and then when a technical fighting game like this comes out everybody plays a button masher rather than the one that takes some finesse!
I don't know why but when i downloaded the demo for the 2009 one i think it was, i couldn't stop laughing. This game is too funny.
they have made a world of improvements from the last game! it just takes a fan of the sport to be a fan of the game i guess!
UFC 09 was definitely the best MMA game to date, cant wait for this one! It should be great they already built the engine for last year's so there should be loads of improvements. As far as good MMA movies go Ben, you should see 'Bone' it's more of a mid-budget streetfighting type movie but it has a few MMA stars in it and it had a pretty awesome story as far as fighting movies are concerned.

Yeah it was 'Blood and Bone' the main guy's name was Bone that's what f'ed me up lol. I love MMA man it's so fun to watch, you know they're adding the gogoplata and a few new fighting styles too right? Karate was one for sure idk about the others.
yeah i kept tryin to remember what it was called i knew it wasnt just bone. hey if your a fan of mma games and mma in general me and some guys started a site it just went live today come check it out its laid back and mature just like psx is.

can't wait for ufc undisputed 2010 i have it preordered a ready as of last month. two MMA Games this year UFC and EA MMA great time to be a fan.
i'm a huge fan of the sport and can't wait to get my hands on 2010. Last year's game was fun but there was so much that was wrong with it (i.e. every fighter fought the same). I'm glad THQ listened to fans and addressed those issues. They usually just release the same game with minor adjustments like they do with their wrestling games.

I gave UFC 2009 a try and it was rather good, think I buy the 2009 thing now that it became platinum. 60 euro is a bit to much for a fighting game.
