According to PS3Center , the PS3 version of UFC Undisputed 2010 will boast all sorts of content that won't be found in the Xbox 360 version. Legendary fighters Royce Gracie, Dan Severn and Jens Pulver will be playable and we'll also get a grand total of 20 Ultimate Fights; the 360 version will only have 15. These fights include Carlos Conduit vs. Martin Kampmann, Matt Hughes vs. Royce Gracie, Keith Jardine vs. Forrest Griffin, and many more, so you'll be able to relive many of the most amazing moments in the sport's relatively young history. There's no knowing if the 360 version will have exclusive content of its own but it's certainly quite possible; this has happened before in other titles, as you may remember games like Soul Calibur IV . THQ is unlikely to favor one console over another these days but perhaps they struck a deal with Sony for this one; we'll probably find out the truth at some point in the next few months.
UFC Undisputed 2010 is set to arrive on May 25 for the PS3, 360, and PSP. Some call it a new generation's boxing and there's no denying UFC's rising popularity, so that should also translate to a larger audience for this title. To learn more, visit the game's official site .

I never played UFC 2009 but I heard good things about it. I'll definitely be checking this one out.

09 was a great game and in 2010 they fixed virtually everything that was complained about. i am chomping at the freaking bit for this game.
this sounds like its gonna be a jump like nhl 09 to 10. that is still one of my favorite games. for me this year i'm looking forward to the last guardian the most. cant wait!

Gracie's grappling=boring.
the game has more then 20 fights, the ultimate fights are challenge fights, you have to re-create the fight just as it was on the pay per view. think of them as challenge maps like in god of war, not part of the main game but a really fun extra.

Gracie's jiu-jitsu may be boring but it was the only way he could of beat his much heavier opponents.
UFC 2009 was good and all but being a huge MMA fan this is great,The ps3 version looks better,now we will have see what EA is going to do.
Indeed. I'm gonna rent both though since me and friends like creating characters and making a small league.
THQ are known to be better at character creation, but EA's game could do better and of course includes FYOODORR EMMEELIIIANNYEENNKOOOOO, so umm…yeh.

You simply make the very best game you can for each machine, and just not gimp any game's due to any other console's disc-abilities, or their massive free-flow of slime-coated Benji's.
Just wanted to correct one thing that was wrong in the article, EA is not involved with this project. THQ are the guys responsible for UFC Undisputed: EA is working on the other game titled MMA. In fact, Dana White threatened to ban any fighter who appears in EA's game.

Funny how EA wouldn't even take a meeting with Dana White, and saying that MMA was not a real sport. Next thing you know, EA is making an MMA game now.

Yeah I am into MMA and UFC, but I didn't purchase UFC Undisputed 2009, although I've heard good thing. Maybe I'll try UFC Undisputed 2010.

That is correct to a degree. See when Dana approached EA to ask if they wanted to make a UFC game Peter Moore wasn't head at the time. So that meant that the previous boss wasn't interested but when Moore came he thought MMA was a legitimate sport and since the offer had passed with the UFC he just tried to make a MMA game without the UFC licence. Personally I am more excited for EA MMA because they have the experience of the FNR4 team and a heavily modified FNR4 engine (as well as millions of dollars).

Never played '09, I'm not really big into fighters as they tend to get monotonous and boring rather quickly.
I will say however that I have not played a mma game so if their is a demo I will definitely try it out.
Also if you have info that may persuade me to play it, I'll listen, just remember I have a small budget and convincing me to get this before something like heavy rain will be difficult.
Nothing I can say to convince you. I loved the first one but after about 5 or 6 fights, it was punch and kick a little then shoot for the takedown and ground and pound until I get the knockout. Monotonous is definitely the word I would use.
Use your cash for Heavy Rain and definitely save up for Gran Turismo 5 and Dead Space 2.
