If you're looking for great downloadable titles, you needn't look any further than TikGames and Creat Studios.
The two companies have announced today that Wakeboarding HD is headed to the PlayStation 3. Set for release in Europe on March 18 and in North America one week later on the 25th, this will be the sixth release from the aforementioned developer and publisher and it will feature "state-of-the-art water simulation and split-screen local multiplayer." With a total of 20 great arcade levels and plenty of high-flying tricks at your disposal, this one could be well worth the admission fee of $14.99. In your way will be all sorts of hazards, like exploding mines and sharks and your challenges will include "a variety of assigned tasks." Through it all, you'll attempt to keep an "action chain alive." Use ramps and rails, bust through boats, collect stars and power-ups and in general, just have yourself a wet-and-wild good time. Said Vladimir Starzhevsky, co-founder and CEO of Creat Studios:
"Creat Studios is excited to deliver another high-quality action game like Wakeboarding HD to the PlayStation® Network and take advantage of capabilities only found on the PlayStation 3. We are continuing to push our design, technology and gameplay capabilities to bring PlayStation Network players the most engaging and entertaining titles."
If you'd like to learn more, check out the official video over at the Creat Studios website ; it certainly appears to be both colorful and entertaining. These days, we can always use a fun, simple downloadable title to act as an appreciated contrast to the huge blockbusters. Variety, my friends, variety.

Now this is the kind of game I can see selling well on PSN. Trying to release this at retail would be disastrous. They seem like a smart studio to be doing it this way. They can't spell, but it's a smart move.
or they can't finishing spelling.
But does it work with the totally awesome Tony Hawk Ride board? HAH!
Oh no you didn't!
i wonder if it will be compatable with playstaiton move.
Looks cool, but I sure hope the game's not as blurry looking as the vid is.
BTW, the gal surfing that sharks throat was a nice touch, LOL
*thinks up joke about surfing a girl's throat* Nah I'm gonna let that one go for the good of all.
I don't see this picking up much momentum.
or leaving many sales in its wake.
wake, lulz
This looks like the kind of game that would give me a headache and send others into epileptic shock. Could be fun for some, but I'll let it pass me by.
I'm looking forward to it. This will be the first PSN game I've bought since before Uncharted 2 came out.
SHARKS!!!!! thats not funny .
