Super Street Fighter IV Pre-Order Bonuses For US, Europe

Maybe you passed on Street Fighter IV last year but have regretted it ever since. Well, you can redeem yourself big time by pre-ordering Super Street Fighter IV and snagging a horde of extra goodies!

As revealed by Joystiq , Capcom has prepared quite the incentive package for gamers who wish to drop a deposit on the upcoming upgrade. In the US, you can receive a timed exclusive download pack from Amazon and Best Buy, which will boast "Super Classic Costumes" for Dhalsim, Fei Long, Blanka, Gen and Guile. If you'd rather pre-order at your local GameStop, you'll get a set of thumb covers…yeah, thumb covers. With Street Fighter characters on them. For thumb wrestling. You can't make that up. …anyway, in Europe, gamers can choose between the aforementioned Classic Costumes pack, iPhone covers, and t-shirts. We're not yet sure which retailers will be offering what across the pond, but at the very least, we know the bonuses will be sweet in both regions. We're not entirely sure who thumb wrestles anymore, but these are for collectors, right? Who cares what they are, provided they're related to Street Fighter in some way? Remember, SFIV was one of 2009's best titles, so there's no reason to believe the "Super" version will be any less impressive.  Actually, it should be more impressive.

Super Street Fighter IV arrives in the US on April 27 and on April 30 in Europe. As a side note, that US date is the same as Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption

True. Getting trophies was a real pain, and what you needed to do to get them was ridiculous!

You'll be jumping into the ring as a 'bonafied' n00b if you wait that long lol…

When it comes to competitive genres such as fighters jumping into the right too late is a bad decision. But hey, your choice

Did you buy Tekken 5, and then bought Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection?

Just wondering

no i just bought tekken 5. i wasn't that impressed with street fighter 4. it's a good game don't get me wrong just not great. i'd rather play blazblue. i bought sf4 at 20 so i'll probably do it with this one. maybe i just love how street fighter third strike too much which is why i'm probably so critical of this series

I wish I had never purchased the first version. Don't get me wrong it's an awesome title but one year later there is now a Super version with extra ultra combos and like 10 new characters and it isn't compatible with the original version. Plus, the new version is only going to cost 40 bux while I paid 60 for the first version. I think this is very unfair, but nothing can be done about it. I sold the original to try and get some of the cash back spent on it and put it towards the newer version. This should have all been DLC as far as I am concerned.

THUMB WRESTLING? Holy crap someone ran out of ideas. Anyway, I'll find this cheap later. Glad I skipped SFIV though, it's just like Capcom to come out with a super version shortly after.

I bought the first one and wasn't impressed at all. Kept it around a week before I sold it and bought Blazblue. I'll be passing on this one.

never been a fan of fighters for the most part but if you was some awesome 3 dimensional fighting in place of the old 2d style, Naruto ultimate ninja storm is an awesome fighter. You don't have to even like naruto, the game is still great.
