John-ShepardIt seems a lot of you really enjoyed the Heavy Rain demo that dropped last week, but next Thursday, you'll have to shift your focus and look ahead once more.
At least, we're hoping this is the case. We know a God of War III demo will be coming to the PSN at some point, but Sony has yet to provide us with an official date. Therefore, we have to turn to rumors and the most recent comes from a UK pre-order deal, as noted by That Gaming Site . If you check a pre-order offer from retailer GAME, it says that those who pre-order GoWIII will get "early access" to the demo, and that "as of 25th February the demo will no longer be exclusive to Game.co.uk." …obviously, this implies that it'll be available to everyone and of course, the 25th is the coming Thursday, the day Sony updates the PSN. Now, although this only applies to Europe right now, we have to assume the demo would arrive on both the US and European PlayStation Store on the same day. It's just about the right timing and if it is indeed true that this demo will be available to download next week, we expect there will be a great many downloads. Like…many.
As if you need the reminder, God of War III is slated to hit store shelves on March 16. The other big title for next month is Final Fantasy XIII so you might have to make a decision if funds are tight. Which will you choose? Do you need the GoWIII demo before you can make a decision?

Hope it's a new demo I've overplayed the E3 demo LOL. Actually I probably won't play this demo I have too many great games to play especially this coming tuesday with Heavy Rain.

im hoping its not the e3 demo cause i subscribed to qore two weeks ago just so i can see how great it is.if its the same as the e3 one ill be disappointed big time.even though ripping off helios head never gets old still would like something new.the demo could be 5-10 mins for all i care as long as its something bad ass and new wouldn't bother me.
I hope its not the demo I got with the GOW collection. Not that it didnt rock…

OPM UK and PSM3 have both had reviews in, and i think the US OPM will have it next month.
plus the next gameinformer mag will have it out feb 27th.
I for one am all for demos of games I am deffo buying … I use them as a way of getting used to controls, working on a sick combo(inGoW3's case) I dont see a demo being just a sneak peak of the game, they offer much more you just have to find it … For example Heavy rains R2 to walk to me ages to get used to … now when the game comes out I am gna be ready right away 🙂
You make a great point concerning getting acquainted with the controls when it comes to demos. I never thought of it before but it makes perfect sense.

I was playing the God Of War Collection last night,I forgot how amazing it was to fight the sisters of faith.
I think its gonna be the E3 demo ,but really hope that its a new one.

don't need a demo, i already played the E3 demo (only once LOL) … & the fact is i bought the PS3 2 years ago because of God of War 3 …
now i need to start GOW collection (PS2 versions of GOW: Finished on hard, GOW2: En cours, will stop now)

For me it would be cool to see a new demo besides the E3 demo. But thats because I've played the crap outta it.
But for those who havn't your in for an amazing treat. What a great display of video games at their finest. Its an awesome experience to say the least!

Maybe this demo would be exciting to me if I actually played the first two…

I hope it's a new demo featuring the complete game engine, the one where it's completely awesome. Hell, even if it's just the dame demo but beefed up quality, it will be pretty badass, lol. My GF will be very happy just to play it in the better quality. I think it's awesome the E3 demo is a representation of how much better it got, lol. GREAT!!
Thats funny i thought you boys in the USA would of had this demo before some of us in the UK,as i've had this demo a good tew months now by way of game i might add,still i don't think anyone wil be disappointed with what they get with this demo as it really does rocks,and looks to be just as good and if not better that the last two games of GOW and yeah i know it's a bold statement but it's true 😉
