Eastasiasoft has announced that SideQuest Studios will deliver the sequel exclusively to the PlayStation 3 some time during the second quarter of this year. It's called Soldner-X 2: Final Prototype and in addition to the popular high Attack Score Mode, this new iteration will also boast a fresh Challenge Mode where players can revisit earlier parts of the game and "complete a variety of tough challenges to earn Trophies, bonus items, additional credits and other unique rewards." Soldner-X 2 was initially slated to arrive late last year but the developers have used the extra time to add some "finishing touches and implement a few more ideas," including that aforementioned Challenge Mode. I'm happy that this is coming soon, the first one was a blast to play. I'm kinda at a loss as to why the PSN doesn't have more old school shmups or even semi-new school ones. Well hopefully that will change soon. Bullet Hell FTW.
Off topic sorta…anyone remember Omega Boost? Was playing that last night. Just imagine if Polyphony did another game, I wish they would.

Thats the PSNs 3rd oh come on, I would at least expect Capcom to do a game similar to this game by now.

doubt many will be buying this though, there is too many games and not enough time.
wish sony would release PSN games onto disks like they did with PAIN or wipeout HD.
i enjoy playing some of the PSN titles, but have missed out on so many of them because i either dont want to download them or im weary im not going to like it and think i wasted my money.
thats the reason i still have not played fat princess, shatter and allot of other PSN titles.
if sony were to release those onto disks id jump at them.
