Ben-DutkaDemon's Souls and Valentine's Day. …we understood the Halloween connection but this one is a bit beyond us.
Even so, Atlus is preparing another World Tendency event for the stellar PlayStation 3 RPG, Demon's Souls , and this one is designed around Valentine's Day. They did this for Halloween and even Christmas, so I suppose this will be something to expect around all holidays (kinda cool, no?). But instead of choosing the Tendency themselves, Atlus has asked the players to vote; after all, Valentine's Day isn't exactly roses and kisses for everyone. So, depending on your mood, head on over to the official site and vote on either a White or Black Tendency for February 14. See, Halloween was Black and Christmas was White but those were logical picks; this one is all dependent on how your personal life is going, apparently. As for me, I'm still confused…V-Day in Demon's Souls …hmm…

Woman: "…if you don't have a body, than how can we…?"
Man: "I SAID I'll FIX it!!!"
Woman: "Yeah, can you just take me home?"

Ok I have no idea what this is but it sounds like the devs are continuing to support the game and giving something back to the community post release which is always welcome in my eyes

God, i have to say, this is the best rpg I've played in the past in a LONG time
And this makes it even sweeter. It's like the Demon's Souls world is alive and changing as the world around us changes

I voted for White Tendency since there are items in Tower of Latria I need to get (very tough world for getting White Tendency)

Yes! this game is beyond awesome. I just started it last week and cant put it down. Its can be as tough and as easy as you want it to be (through charater customization, you just have to do the research).
The worlds are abosolutely amazing. so much detail atmosphere.
indeed, this is the BEST Japanese made RPG of this gen on PS3, Lost Odyssey on 360 as I always said. nothing better than these two this gen. seriously, FF13 might not be more addictive than Demon's Souls although FF13 is sweet in visual powers.

So when will the White Knight Chronicles Review be up? It's been days since the game has come out and I needed a second opinion. Especially from you guys. It's either WKC or FF13.

Hey Honey dinner was great, but I really need to be getting back home now. I'm only 2 trophies away from getting the platinum in Demon's Souls and their doing a white world tendency day, so now is the perfect opportunity to finish it up.

Just out of curiousity is this ever going to be released in the UK, i've not heard anything about it yet..
Demon's Souls is a great game and im hoping to jump in on the online aspect soon so im voting Black tendency ^_^ I'll be honest though… I haven't ventured very far due to fear lol I've been playing forever but I just keep soul farming in 1-1 and 1-2. Only big thing I did was kill Executioner Miralda and since then I've been trudging around in Valarfax's armor killing dreglings and the red eye demon knight lol.

Been seeing average reviews for Demon Souls. I do love my RPGs, but I've got Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age Origins (both which I am yet to finish), and I got a preorder on FF XIII.
White Knight Chronicles hasn't faired any better on Metacritic either.
And internet in Australia is so terrible it's almost non-existant. Really!!! Well, that's a bit of an overstatement. But hardly anyone connects their consoles to the net here, and my PS3 is running over wireless.
I love the look and play of Demon's Souls, don't like the excruciating looking level of difficulty, but with a slow to no net connection, is it still worth picking up? Is it worth the $99 here in Oz?
Unfortunately, I may have to pass this one up. Too many great games like Mass Effect 2, God of War 3, Heavy Rain, FF XIII and Gran Turismo 5. Not to mention Splinter Cell Conviction which I have also predordered, and Bioshock 2. My wallet can't handle it!!! And now Dead Space 2, Force Unleashed 2 and Diablo 3 are coming out later this year too!!! Can I really fit in Demon's Souls over all that!?!?!?!
However, if I get a stable net connection on my PS3 and Demon's Souls drops below 40 bucks about a year from now, I might give it a go. These comments sections do seem to have a certain fondness for Demon's Souls, so it can't be all that bad.
if your wallet cannot handle it, then wait for a price drop(platinum?) and buy it. It is good, even when online. And it is not that difficult.You just have to be careful! Offline, it will take you many hours to complete(90 hours for me) and it needs many playthrought to get 100% completed. Train offline, and when you get a stable internet connection, get ready for the events, PvP, Invasions and Co-op. Until then, play offline!!
diablo 3 wont be out till next year sadly.
ive been dying for it to come out, diablo 2 is one of my all time favorite games.
SW TFU though i doubt will be out this year, too soon i hope so but i doubt it.
im tossing up between getting ME2 on PC or bioshock 2.
only reason i wanted to get bioshock 2 on PC is because it supports 3D, just got my 3D monitor the other day and am dying to give it a whirl.
ME2 isn't a rpg anymore xD not saying its a bad game (has a game its better than ME1) just like now it feels more like a shooter.
Demon's Souls hmm if you don't have a good connection better wait..the online on Demon's Souls gives the game some kind of eerie feel that its one of the awesome things of the game.
Some friends and I used to celebrate Black Valentine's Day, with black armbands and all, so I guess I'd vote for Black tendency.
Seeing how the remaining trophies on my list have to do with stone upgrades, Black would be best since it would promote more drops.
