John-ShepardWe haven't heard much about Killzone 3 , despite a few unsubstantiated rumors. Perhaps some actual news will arrive in just a few weeks time.
You may have heard the rumors that said we'd hear info and details for the third Killzone installment in February, and although neither Sony or Guerrilla Games has come forward, that speculation persists. For instance, multiple sources have stated that we just might see KZ3 at the end of this year and furthermore, as indicated by Platform Nation , Killzone3.com is being docked by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and this site expires on October 8, 2010. If everything starts to churn on the development side of things, might we actually see Killzone 3 for this year's holiday season? If it does, it'll compete with Halo Reach , which of course will be a huge title for Microsoft's Xbox 360. The last we heard about KZ3 is that a former Insomniac Games lead designer had signed on with the Guerrilla team to help out, although it wasn't confirmed that he was actually working on Killzone 3 . Then again, what the hell else could it be…?
We'll certainly be on the lookout for any information this month, but we will also remind you that L.A. Noire is gonna receive a pretty big unveiling in this month's Game Informer. That's a game you'll want to learn more about, right?

I seen your avatar and just wanted to say I just got into Lost a couple weeks ago, and am finishing up the last few episodes of seasons 2 as we speak. Great show!
Ya I never been so much into a show. There many podcasts out there for the show. Season 6 (last season might i add) just started this last tuesday. You have a lot to catch up on. Make sure you dont skip episodes go in order from beginning.
yeah i started season 1 a couple weeks ago, finished it, and immediately started season 2. I just finished season 2 this morning 3 seasons left then ill be waiting for season 6 to either hit dvd, or hopefully netflix will have it, or ill be watching it at abc dot com.
I'm really into it, I actually thought it would be something entirely different. Either way I enjoy it.
Yes please if it's out for this Christmas with cherrys on top. Loved the 2nd one. I played the 1st one but never got round to completing it.
L.A Noire was annouced to the 360 months ago, why is everybody acting so surprised now, unless you just learned of it.
However I'm way more excited for some KZ3 than L.A Noire, at this point mainly because I don't have much information on it. But I know KZ3 is going to be epic it just has to be they're upgrading an already awesome engine to add stuff that didn't make the cut the first time around and also some other minor issues. But something I would like to see is the return of the alternate fire for most weapons and that badass knife from single player added into the multiplayer, imagine having that knife and using saboteur, I'd never stop playing, there were times when I was using saboteur for a whole match, all I could here was we got a team killer. Now imagine the fun if you had knife melee or maybe its just me. As far as destructible enviroments I like the idea but only in limited use, because of how its abused in BF2 its going to get boring real quick its almost as bad as spawn camping, after they removed the spawn protection from KZ2, Killzone died for me. So thats another thing that needs to be adressed not only in killzone but in all shooters.
Yall probably can't tell I'm excited for KZ3 but I really am, but I just had another thought to share. I'm thinking GG should bring the cover system to the multiplayer, (who threw that shoe) I know your going to say think about the camping, just here me out though. It was the cover system that made the single player so intense, I mean you didn't know where your enemy was going to pop up well atleast on the harder settings, not only that but the cover system worked so well espsecially for a FPS. But the reason I think a cover system would work for this is because of Uncharted, now this was a game I was like there is no way I'm going to play the multiplayer because I knew people would just camp the hell out of the cover system, wrong, well a few did but what they kept forgetting the verticality of the gameplay which KZ2 has also, plus I tapped that ass so good they either quit or actually started playing the way it was meant to be played, so basically I think it would work here is because the people who camped the cover system in UC2 usaully got handled swiftly and justly, with an occasional dance on your grave routine.

Why are you non-campers so against campers? Camping is just a different strategy/play style. You never hear a camper complain about the r&g'ers running all over the map like (soon-to-be) headless chickens! Personally I enjoy playing both styles, especially in MW2 cause the maps and game mechanics are so well designed/balanced in this respect.

I hope we get more weapons, and real weapons, and the higs could have their own types, and plenty of explosions, and longer story, and KIll rico, he killed garza.
i loved kz2 but am i the only one that thought the online "set-up" was kind of flawed?
with the whole changing abjective and such. and classes were kinda strangly set up also. and i wanted to snipe.. but i had to be a general first? 🙁
does anyone else who reads the comments just skip over the really long ones unless they see an interesting reply?
and for the love of god please let this game release this year…and as many ppl have said im kinda spoiled from KZ2 so KZ3 cant be equal or just a lil bit better, it needs to be on a whole 'nother level, im gonna buy it as soon as i get the cash no matter what its like, i just dont want to be dissapointed by it =)
oh and i actually cried a little when garza died T.T
well kz 2 is the best fps i ever played and i still pay it. yea the story was short but the battles were long and the Helghast were a pain to kill. and i find it funny that kz2 has a BETTER SCORE THAN THE NEW CALL OF DUTY! LOL now that game is over rated.
