As revealed at the PlayStation Blog , the upcoming downloadable content for Naughty Dog's masterpiece will arrive on January 28. The cool part about this? This new content comes courtesy of Guerrilla Games, Insomniac Games and Sucker Punch Productions; they have helped to deliver the PlayStation Heroes Skin Pack for Uncharted 2 , which features seven new skins for the multiplayer action. Sev and Helghast soldier will arrive from KZ2, Nathan Hale and a Chimera come from Resistance 2 , and both Cole and Zeke will make their presences felt; both characters of course come from inFamous . You can grab 'em all for $4.99 on the 28th and if you're really behind and haven't gotten to 2009's best yet, you can try the single-player demo. This will arrive on the 28th as well and like all demos, it'll be free. Maybe third-person action has never been your thing, regardless of how good it is, and you have to be 110% convinced before dropping your hard-earned cash on a genre you don't normally play.
As for the rest of you who enjoy the solid online play, that Skin Pack is pretty freakin' cool. We need more nods to the next-gen "PlayStation Heroes," don't you think?

This is the coolest DLC to hit the network in my opinion. I saw the screen shots at IGN a few days ago. All the characters look fantastic. ND has created one of the best game engines this gen. Cant wait to get this. Getting tired of using Herry Flynn and Lazaravic's henchmen. Helghast all the way!

Well anyways, i haven't played Uncharted 2 yet so this demo ought be great! I played the multiplayer beta and i enjoyed it alot too.

Yeah I agree Jawknee, besides newly released levels for LBP along with the other nice goodies they offer, this is the greatest addition to DLC to hit the PSN ever! I'm psyched for this release. Guess I'll pick up the U2 multiplayer once more! Like someone before me said, borrowing some other familiar faces would be cool as well. I'm surprised an idea like this has just come to pass. With all these big PS3 exclusives, they should band together these protagonists and antagonists for a gigantic brawl. This was the best idea yet. PSX members, keep the great ideas flowing. Maybe someone will skip by and notice the genius ideas being proposed here.
thats kinda a kick in the pants to the fans of uncharted who picked it up on day 1.
i was so excited for uncharted 2, though gutted because i was worried bringing MP would negatively effect the SP.
than to further kick in the balls they give us a beta instead of a SP demo.
it was not bad enough me wondering if the games been effected because of the MP, no that was not enough betrayal, they had to stab another knife in and dis the SP demo.

I'll be getting this awesome DLC once it's released. Naughty Dog is definitely my favourite developer this generation.
I'm not sure if I'll spend 5 bucks for some skins. That's like Microsoft charging for their avatar clothes. It's perfectly within their right to charge that much, (both Sony and Microsoft), but I probably won't be getting any of it. However, I will have fun blasting Zeke straight through his Aviators…
