John-ShepardLast year's Batman: Arkham Asylum by Rocksteady Studios was absolutely one of 2009's best. This is why it deserves a Game of the Year Edition.
Although we didn't give that illustrious award to this particular game (you all know what won), we – like most other sources – at least nominated Arkham Asylum for GotY. Now, is a nomination by many sources enough to warrant the aforementioned special edition? It appears so; a reader has sent us this evidence , which clearly says a Game of the Year version of the wonderfully polished action title will be headed our way in 2010. The question is, what might it include? The new GotY version of LittleBigPlanet rewarded late visitors to Sackboy's world with a ton of downloadable content and most of the time, we do get plenty of extra stuff. We'll be interested to see what Rocksteady wants to toss into this edition and we assume that info will be ready when the announcement arrives. Some of you missed this one last year – too busy playing inFamous ? – but there's always time to play catch-up. …let's just hope this doesn't show up on the same day as Final Fantasy XIII , or something.
We'll let you know when this becomes official. In the meantime, we'll also be on the lookout for news of the sequel; Arkham Asylum 2 was confirmed at last year's Spike TV VGAs.

im glad but i wont but it since i already have the game, and i have infamous but i thought it was a horrible waste of money, and it could of been so much better but felt plain and uneventful the only thing i like was the six-axis control with the lighting.

either that or assassins creed 2 should of got GOTY.

Games with GOTY editions are always good deal.
I just got my PS3 Christmas of '08, I can't recall why I don't have Infamous yet, but I surely need to catch up on Metal Gear Solid 4 & Littlebigplanet. Definetely will be getting Infamous 2 though.
Well whenever a game comes out really good they have to do a GOTY edition to resell you the same game and make more money.

they will probably include all the DLC challenge rooms and maybe bring in a new character for them.
but the best part in AA is the flshback the scarkrow induces.
i was like WTF?
your walking than everything goes dark and your back as a kid in the scene where your parents get killed.
than the part where the joker is bringing you in.
that in the cartoon bizo would of resulted in everyone taking off there glasses cleaning them, and booking themselves in for a eye exam.
i seriously thought i did something wrong, especially when i got shot i thought id have to go back and do something differently.

for the first time ever, a game made me say i dident see that coming.
I felt exactly the same way .When the screen got all messed up and joker strolling you in, that was trippy.I thought I had gone on the wrong side caz remember there was two entrances.great friggin game.

o, BTW ben which game did get GOTY?

I own the PC version already but if the PS3 GOTY version has some nice enough additions, I may get it as well.
Think the 360 GOTY edition will let them finally play as the joker?
