Ubisoft Schedules Five For Euro PS3 Launch

Europe doesn't yet have the PS3; while the rest of the world got a chance to purchase Sony's next-gen console in November of last year, PAL regions must wait until March. However, the delay has apparently allowed software developers to give European gamers more to choose from come launch day.

One of those developers is Ubisoft, who should have no less than five titles available for when the PS3 releases in Europe. Of course, several have the popular Tom Clancy name, and are already recognizable by gamers everywhere: Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas , Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent , and of course, the newest Ghost Recon installment; Advanced Warfighter 2 . The other two confirmed for March are Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion .

It's a solid lineup, to be sure, and although you European gamers have been forced to wait, you'll have a much more robust selection of titles than either Japan or the U.S. See? Good things do come to those who wait.
