Don't ask how we missed this little trickle of news, but some weeks back Famitsu Xbox 360 scored a bit of news bits regarding Resident Evil 5. Producer Jun Takeuchi spoke to the magazine and let them that they project to have RE5 running at a flawless 60 frames per second. This is terrific news, seeing as how few games have been doing that on either PS3 or Xbox 360.
Furthermore, Takeuchi added that hot and cold weather will affect the gameplay in various ways. In addition to that, Capcom aims to deliver a visual spectacle with characters featuring very realistic facial expressions, superb animation, and immense detail all the way down to each individual hair.
Unfortunately, the wait for RE5 will be quite a while, because Capcom doesn't plan to release the game until sometime in 2008 for both PS3 and X360. Yeah, we know, it's going to be one grueling wait; but it'll probably be worth it.
