Ghost Recon 4 is one of those games that exists (it was officially unveiled back in April), but details are few and far between. All we we know is that it'll be available some time next year.
But this new rumor has sparked some definite discussion, especially amongst those who loved Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter . The Australian Classification Board is in the news for something besides re-rating Aliens vs. Predator ; they also recently classified some game called "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Predator." But according to GameSpot , the picture becomes even more clouded when we look at a US Patent & Trademark filing by Ubisoft, registered on December 14 for the name, "Ghost Recon Future Soldier," to be used in "game software and electronic game programs." The popular theory now is that the latter project will feature the Future Soldier programs being conducted by the US and its NATO allies, which is a part of the US Army's Brigade Combat Team Modernization Program. This program helps battle soldiers become equipped with the latest and greatest; the highest of high-tech equipment for dealing with the terrors of combat. But who knows? Right now, it's anyone's guess as to exactly what Ubisoft is planning, but we do like the fact that Ghost Recon is returning in some capacity.
For military aficionados, especially those who may have been looking forward to the now-canceled Six Days in Fallujah , whatever iteration of Ghost Recon arrives will be satisfactory. But then again, we're always looking for something better than "satisfactory."
NICE!
i really enjoyed ghost recon advanced warfighter two.
hopefully they can refine the series, add some proper sound effects (thats the 1 thing that disappointed me, theres a air strike going off 2 cms away from you can it sounds like popcorn on the stove)
fix up the sound effects, add some varying missions and this could be a contender for GOTY.
ubisoft have changed for better thank god, they use to be really cheap and lazy.
but now there putting out some of my favorite games.
now hurry the ^%$# up and announce and release the new rainbow six game.
rainbow six vegas is the best shooter game available on ps3.
I have to agree with you on UBI hurring the hell up on giving us a new Rainbow Six. I love Rainbow Six, it's style of play, the realism to where it only takes a bullet or too to kill somebody, unlike that OTHER fps (and no I don't mean the masterpiece Killzone 2) but I don't agree Rainbow Vegas is the best fps on the PS3. With Vegas being a sub par Xbox port and NOT built for the PS3, Killzone takes the BEST fps on the PS3 spot 🙂 Like you said, UBI, "hurry the ^%$# up and announce and release the new rainbow six game."

best part of rainbow six vegas, besides the mark and execute entries is depending which weapon you use you have to change your gameplay.
like if your using a shotgun you can run and gun because you have higher firepower on lower difficulties obviously, try that on higher and you wont last long.
every weapon behaves and feels different, thats a rare thing in games, sadly.
and ben have you heard anything about I AM ALIVE?
they announced it.
they announced its going to be delayed since its being moved to ubisoft shanghai and thats it have not heard boo since!
thats one game im really intrigued to find some more info on.
I want GR 3 just like Sumit Strike…with the coop and all.
what i dislike is when games aren't marketed well. whilst sites like psxe give previews on everything, if you don't give enough detail, then no on egives a toss, no one reads the previews. i however, will correct this by trying to read all previews if they're slgihtly interesting.
with that, i'm off to look at red dead redemption, a cowboy game would be nice. i need a new racing title, but i'll probably play motorstorm. burnout is getting boring.
